Guys I locked in my BTC at $18k on my Trezor after the FTX crash back in 2022, I was scared it would dump to $12k.

I forgot to unlock my coins once the price started rising, how fucked am I?

unfortunately there is nothing you can do OP
at best you can do some damage control, sell the bitcoin at 18794USD to me and use the money to join the bullrun before it is too late

i think their smallprint specifically reads that they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to manually locking/unlocking the btc but maybe you can bribe the support wagie

Connect Your Trezor: Connect the Trezor device to your computer or smartphone.

Access Trezor Wallet: Go to the official Trezor wallet interface, which is typically accessed via Trezor Wallet or by using the Trezor Suite application.

Enter PIN: If prompted, enter your PIN. This will be the numerical code that you set up when you first initialized your Trezor device.

Access Accounts: Once you are in the wallet interface, select the account that holds the locked BTC.

Transaction: To "unlock" your BTC, what you are actually doing is creating a transaction. This means you are transferring BTC from your Trezor to another address. You can send it to an exchange if you want to sell it, or to another wallet address.

Set Network Fee: During the process of sending a transaction, you will be asked to set a network fee. The higher the fee, the faster the transaction is likely to be confirmed by the Bitcoin network.

Confirm Transaction: Verify the transaction details on your Trezor device's screen and confirm it by pressing the physical button on the Trezor.

Wait for Confirmation: After confirming the transaction on your Trezor, it will be broadcast to the Bitcoin network. You will need to wait for it to be included in a block and confirmed. The time this takes can vary based on network congestion and the fee you set.
