Nothing matters until SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit concludes after/around Bitcoin halving. Then I will finally be able to buy my blonde tattoo-less girlfriend a brand new Jeep Compass that I promised her in 2022. I can wait.

>> No.57739949

Half victory, judge said that retail XRP sales like my 29k XRP bag were NOT securities. However, it was still left open whether "institutional sales" were securities. SEC appealed or something and opened a new remedies-related discovery phase in like October. The discovery phase ended on February 20th with Ripple submitting years of financial records, and the SEC's crypto enforcement unit leader Ladin Stewert resigned from the SEC on February 21st. She had led the crypto enforcement unit at the SEC for 8 years, she brought the lawsuits against Coinbase and Ripple etc. There are a couple more deadlines ahead working us towards either a settlement or taking the case to trial. My money is clearly in on Ripple settling or winning.

Why the fuck xrp holders aren't jumping ship for Link beats me. A bit of cursory research is all that's needed to know that banks are not gonna be using xrp in any meaningful way now. It's so fucking obvious. I can only assume a lot of them do no research and there's a collective ignorance.
Same goes for other shite like Cardano, but I thought xrp holders might have more sense.
Clown world, and it's their loss, not ours. IDGAF if they sell and buy Link or not, it won't make any difference to what's coming.

>> No.57740573

its a cult. its one thing to have a bag, but a complete other thing to ignore the other incredible use cases in blockchain. I tried telling the guy who recruited me for the xrp cult to buy a bag of link or ethereum and he proceeded to act like I was an idiot for not realizing the switch flippy.

What annoys me more than these retarded holders is how king shabbos goy himself, Brian "the halfwit" Garlinghouse, is so coy about the current uselessness of xrp. Doesn't stress how no banks use xrapid, and how partners use tech unaffiliated with xrp. SBI will be the first institution to get the ball rolling by, the earliest, 2025, and even it's one fucking bank essentially running a beta. So you can listen to Brian all you want, but this is the same useless fuck who was, oh my god get ready, the ceo of AOL and Yahoo in their twilight years.

Here is a great tidbit about little Brian:

>In 2020 Garlinghouse admitted that Ripple Labs would be losing money if it did not have the revenue generated from the sales of the XRP cryptocurrency

And the brains behind this operation also thought this

>In 2018 and 2019 Garlinghouse claimed on multiple occasions that the published error rate for SWIFT messaging was at least 6%.[11] This was shown to be untrue by research published by the London School of Economics Business Review that showed Garlinghouse's claims were based on misreading of a paper published by SWIFT that did not refer to error rates in messaging

Here is their hero to lead them toward the switch flippy flip! Ooooo I can feel it flippin, oooo the switchy is flippin guys! isn't that heckin crazy!

I was only in this purely for speculation, and that was before the SEC slammed Brian in his dumb fucking mug. Quite unfortunate, but whatever. Harvard Business School takes just about anyone these days, incredible stuff. But don't worry, ripplets will keep looking for clues in the numbers and movies and tweets! 2 more weeks guys!!!!

She kept trying to get me to buy more, glad I haven't lmao. I'll stick with my 1000 at 0.17 cents thank you.

>> No.57741284

I've had a bag since 2017 made really good profits and have just been holding the rest. What people fail to realize is that if Ripple loses the entire crypto market, outside of BTC and arguably ETH will have a giant target on them. Hence why i havent bought anything on the SEC list. I get it if you don't like it the price action is shit but to actively want them to lose is literally a loss for the entire industry. Unless you are a BTC maxi or arguably ETH maxi
