How do I decide between a higher paying but monotonous and boring job vs a lower paying job that I’d actually like and interests me?

All jobs become boring and monotonous over time. Higher pay is the correct answer.

What's the lower paying job that actually interests you? Is it significantly lower pay? Can you make a career out of it or is it more like a hobby?

Take the high paying job, /investmaxx/ then buy yourself the financial leeway to do what you want without feeling like you’re sacrificing. Basically do Barista FIRE.

The lower paying job would be working with birds outdoors as part of a research project. It’s only 6 months and less than minimum wage but housing is provided. The higher paying job housing is not provided but it’s closer to 25$ an hour and is only be doing it a year and a half before going to law school. Neither one I intend to make a career out of but the lower paying one I feel looks more interesting on a resume and I can write about it for my law school application.
