I have a simple question about stock splits.
If I had invested $60K in Tesla at $20 a share, buying 3000 shares, does that mean I would have had 45000 shares after the 5:1 and 3:1 splits, and made $11M in profits after selling at $250 a share?

No I mean that on the chart you're looking at where it shows TSLA is $20 in 2017 it was actually around $300 and then they split when TSLA was over $1000 per share.
If you mean when TSLA was $20 (but on the charts its $1.50) a share back in 2010 then yes $60k x200 would net you $12m.
Basically you don't need to worry about splits when you look at charts.
