OctaSpace is a decentralized computing platform specializing in rendering, data science, and AI tasks. EVM compatible L1 Blockchain utilizing POW. No ICO, fair launch. Tier 1 exchanges coming soon.

no premine, no ico, no vc, no team/advisors allocations, tokens are acquired only by mining. The team operations (hiring, marketing, listings) are funded by community/node runners. Developer account is funded by an ever-decreasing contribution per block per era, which decreases from 0.5 OCTA per block to 0.3 OCTA per block until the emission schedule is complete in 2027.

Been looking for RNDR competitors for soo long and now I'm finding new ones every week.

I believe the market will consolidate to one or a few protocols as it matures, but it's not entirely obvious which ones will be the eventual winners, as a lot of details will need to be hammered out to create functional marketplaces, rather than just centralized hubs for rentals.

The potential for this market is enormous though, especially when the bottleneck in AI starts to shift from hardware to electricity. Comparing with the current marketcap of Render is completely irrelevant

Flux is partner with nvidia and ovh, and was already here last bull run. The pump just getting started

Aleph.im does the same thing, has lot of blockchain compatibility and is a small cap listed on all cex (cuckbase, cuckcoin etc…)

I suspect there will be a lot of that, for instance see NODE AI thread on this board.

However, I believe there are quite a few people who's been building decentralized cloud/compute and only recently switched to focusing on GPUs. Nosana is one such example. FLUX is another.

Here's another sub 100m project I found today that seems to have been live for a year already https://opendata.clore.ai/d/aKQRJmA4z/clore-ai?orgId=1&from=now-2y&to=now

Rlc seems like a good play but it always fails to really pump. Good updates and transparency though way better than akash, golem, or flux, but it never really blasts off.

Consider this.
You use a decentralized network of computers to carry out a large scale computation.
A decentralized network of computers now all access your data. You need clever tricks to ensure your calculations remain calculable whilst occluding the parties involved from knowing what they're actually doing.

If you're an American use xeggex. I tried coinmetro first and they didn't have the liquidity for the 25k I bought the other day, got about 1k from coinmetro. I was able to buy the rest pretty easy on xeggex and move to Metamask. You have to manually add the Octaspace network then it works fine.

It's new which is good, meaning we're early. But that also means some tinkering to get in position. I still can't move it to ledger just yet for example. Everyone outside the US can just use MEXC and boom done. Anyway there's your spoonfuls.

One of my most hopeful make it plays desu.

I don't know why /biz/ does this so much. Simply picking a project with a lower market cap than any of their competitors is retarded. Nine times out of ten there's a good reason for why it has a lower market cap. None of the RNDR alternatives have a working project out of beta, none of them have anywhere near the annual revenue of the Render Network and none of them have the connections that Jules Urbach has.

They're unironically as retarded as normies. I remember May 2021, where normies were telling me that they had bought $20 of DOGE because "Dude look how cheap it is! If it becomes just half as big as bitcoin, I'll be a millionaire!"

nu/biz/ is at the same level of thinking. Smaller mcap means inevitably higher upside, for their pigeon brains.

It's not an investment or long term hold.If render was a company listed on nasdaq it would be $30 map stock. Everything is overvalued, we are in a bubble. Please stop playing Warren Buffett here.

>It's not an investment or long term hold
I disagree.
>.If render was a company listed on nasdaq it would be $30 map stock.
$30 market cap? That's so dumb that you must have made a typo. The network had around 5 million in revenue last year, they're a clear leader in their space in a growing industry.
>Everything is overvalued, we are in a bubble.
This is a different point altogether and it contradicts your previous statement. If it were a bubble like the dotcom bubble, this wouldn't affect long term holders. Any time something significant happens you'll have people claiming it's a bubble. As Peter Lynch said "There's always something to worry about". That mindset will usually lead you to miss out on most of the price gains. You are not as good of a trader as you think.

>> No.57720898

>>57720749
I meant $30 million market cap. You know well that crypto is not regulated, and there is wash trading to lure naive 'investors'. Market capitalization of 99% of projects is artificially inflated by speculators. So, no ,it's not an investment, rather means to generate as much profit as possible. It's up to you to find the most profitable plays. Is it render? I doubt it.

The Coinmetro comment us accurate. I tried Xeggex when I had that problem and bought all the rest of my Octa just fine then moved it to my wallet. You have to manually add the Octaspace network though, at least I had to for Metamask. pretty easy, Octaspace provides the instructions.

All the fud be damned, this is a great hold.
