How do you actually make it in crypto?

How much money would you need? How much research should you do?

Memecoins can be high reward, I've seen a couple in the last 6 months that did a 10-50x right right before my eyes but when I first saw them on my twitter timeline I thought I was already priced out. You should invest if you have an active income but at the same time that mentality is there that you can always lose that money and not make it back in the longterm but maybe I'm just poor.

I consider myself to have just barely 'made it'

Basically bought ETH continuously during bear markets since 2017. Put in $50k in chunks of 5-10k, now up to around $1M.

Note that I also had a real job and a pension during this time.

Why bother with some random shitcoin when you can roll with XTP, packing utility tokens on Tap, and already working globally, with big plans to blow up in the US?

Oh that's easy, I just ran a GPU miner in late 2010/early 2011 for a few months.

My GPU was several years old and mostly obsolete at that point, but it didn't matter.

I spent several dollars in electricity to do this. Then when I saw I was mining less than a bitcoin per day, I stopped the miner, since there was no point.

So, if you buy my book, I'll explain how you too can make it in crypto.

You can earn in cash without dropping a ton of capital, especially with projects like DePINs. I'm diving into DePINs built on the Peaq network. Got Natix, earning points while driving. Also got Silencio app, farming noise coins whenever it picks up a noise.

someone for the love of god please give me a solid 20x+ to put my 80k into that has good liquidity. I don't fucking want to deal with lots of different coin shit and chase new projects. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't just put all money into COQ and sell at 20x before the moonboys wait for 50x?

Due to increasing centralisation and censorship by social media companies there is genuine demand for P2P actually decentralized social medias.
Consider plebbit.
Read the whitepaper, GitHub and try the demos.
Plebbit is a fully open source and P2P social media protocol that is free to use, scalable resistant and with no https endpoints, no SSL certs and uses ens and nfts for optional usernames and avatars, so it's actually decentralized unlike federated alternative.
As censorship internationally increases there is more demand for tech like plebbit which gives social power to the plebs.
Plebbit has a 4chan front end (plebchan) and old Reddit front end (seedit) but it could use any other front end design.
The token is used for voting on the default feed, tipping and DAO votes on development issues.

You won't listen tho and end of 2026-2027 when plebbit hits 1b mc I'll remind biz of this post

"making it" is a description of overall net worth and financial freedom, not crypto specifically

In order to really "make it", I would say 3 million in crypto gains (realized, post tax). 3 million liquid cash is enough to invest in dividend earning stocks and live off the interest of your pile of cash without needing to work a day in your life again.
