It took me all of 30 minutes to make my first million dollars, and in case my constant presence here isn't a good enough clue, I haven't worked a real job since. I've been semi-retired for the last 20 years. I work part time. Sometimes. I get busy around tax time and when I'm bidding on a project, but other than that I shitpost on 4chan or go snowboarding or metal detecting.

In the 22 years I've been contracting in mining and government I have completed about $20,000,000 worth of work, or my crew has. I mostly sit on my ass and watch you not getting rich off your investments.

I don't know if silver is a good investment. I think gold is a decent investment. But neither one is going to make you rich, just like crypto and stocks aren't going to make you rich. The closest thing to passive income you'll ever find that makes you rich fast is running a successful business. Which requires some work, and some social skills. At least at the start.

true, we start off being useful and at some point hire so many helpers we're not really doing the work ourselves. But it's not necessary. If you'd like to buy my business I can teach you everything you need to know to do my job, and it's not much. I don't manage my workers. I don't manage my budgets. I do still choose which jobs to do and how much to charge, but I could easily hire someone to do that for me instead. The business runs itself, owner not needed.

tax purposes. Paper gold is taxed as an investment, and can be put into retirement accounts. Physical gold is taxes as a collectable and can't generally be part of a retirement account.

I'm not wealthy but I believe one reason that investment firms like to use PM ETFs and the like is because it's relatively cheap and easy to rebalance. So like if the stock market drops a lot compared to gold, you could attempt to sell gold and buy in while prices are low. Potentially making quite a bit of wealth in the long run. You will always pay some amount of premium when buying physical bullion. I suggest comparing a few reputable sites to see if you can find a deal. Liberty Coin is a common suggestion for someone who is starting out. Understand that there are fakes and scammers out there so don't get too creative. If something is selling below spot it's a fake. And stay away from eBay, Craigslist, etc until you know what you're doing and understand the risks.
