How does a bear live with themselves day in, day out? They must have no loved ones, from constantly spouting schizoid doomer shit.
Bulls are happy people. We are hopeful for the future, happy for others to succeed, and give advice on how to better yourselves.
Bears only want people to suffer, or to feel like they're suffering. They want people to feel doom and dread. They cut others down and berate them for their choices because they desperately need things to fall apart. For what? To make some money.
Every time a bear calls you a kike, remember they're wishing for others to fail so they can make a buck.

Are you in a high CoL area or something? If you're making that kind of money you really ought to be able to sock it away.
Alternatively, you're socking a lot of it away and you feel "poor" because you never spend any. If that's the case, go out occasionally, buy yourself something nice, take a vacation or two. Your mental health with thank you and you'll feel a lot better off.

> this financial anxiety never goes away does it if you grew up poor?
Outside of the oldest of old money, everyone has financial anxiety, even the multi-millionaires. The only difference is that when you're making that kind of money you know that you're probably always going to be okay no matter what day-to-day obstacles come up. For me, telling myself "it's going to be okay" when the roof leaked or the car broke down helped me reduce my anxiety.
> seems like I'll never attain my goals no matter how many paychecks I collect
By any reasonable measure, you can probably achieve 95% of your consoomer goals in life on a 250k income. Just takes diligence in saving/investing, and time for it to grow. You might never be "young and wealthy", but that's more luck than anything, you can be just about any other age and doing better than just about anyone else. You will also have more of a safety net if you do want to take big risks and try to get 8-9 figure wealth earlier.

> the taxes hurt real hard
You just find other ways to offset it, such as mortgage interest, sticking to long-term stocks, or taking advantage of tax-advantaged accounts to reduce your tax burden (401k, IRA, HSA, etc). That's not to say the taxes don't suck, but taxes are always going to suck no matter your income level and you have more flexibility at higher income levels to deal with it.

When the whole market pumped because of Tesla or Apple you could at least say these companies are making either a lot of money or it is showing the strength of the consumer.

NVDA selling data center bullshit is only directed at other companies. And these companies buy NVDA as somebody else said "gold shovels" to dig for gold. Tech companies will most likely benefit from it. Why is the whole "economy" pumping as if there was only Tech?
Everybody is buying this shit to not be left behind NOW, it doesn't mean they are doing it because they have enough money to spend or even demand for their services is there. It is an investment in the hopes it pays out.

I dont know why people are focusing on american uranium companies so much. they have very little production possible bc their deposits are so small unless there are a bunch of buyouts. Im waiting to buy back into deep yellow bc I think africa is the go to spot since both cameco and kazatamprom have no incentive to flood the market and have a history of missing production numbers

>> No.57686409

>>57686389
Cameco's locked into contracts set far below spot and which their current production can't cover; they absolutely would flood the market if they could.

New production will come online from NXE and DNN first. Maybe GLATF in Niger. Deep Yellow's not bad though.

People meme about shit like UUUU because of the ticker and rare earth angle. And UEC gets props not because it's American but because they're one of the few people with both production and barrels on hand.

I was thinking cameco could handle the difference if it meant they wait another year to or so to really kick production up so that can keep the prices higher and get better new long term contracts, I dont know if thats feasible but 2024 is not going to see huge production numbers.

I like UUUU the most out of north america bc chalmers worked with john borshoff when they were at paladin and he did other stuff too so he is actually experienced. I dont know much about amir at uec but dont like the way he pumps shit but I guess thats the nature of getting more attention to your company.

There's only so many uranium companies as of now(im aware that as the bull run continues more will sprung up). But there's not a ton of options for "best uranium company". Most of these are speculative junior mining stocks, with tons of dilution, no mine and no profits. Even CCJ and KAP are deeply flawed. CCJ has shitty contracts and can never hit their quotas. KAP is sorta controlled by the Russians. Theres weird things going on at KAP, everyone important got fired or left in the last year and now they dont have acid? With that being said, a lot of the north american plays have performed really well. They're somewhat liquid, present in the ETFs, and big players cant access them yet, so its a perfect scenario for small money imo. There might be such an extreme deficit that some of these shitty companies that no one thinks could actually go into production could actually end up producing yellow cake. If the spot price goes to $200, we all know the smaller market cap companies that have good narratives and publicity will move the most.

I own EU, UUUU, UEC, DNN, ISO, FUU, MGA, BSK, CVV in north america
and Global atomic, goviex, and deep yellow in Africa. I say just buy URNJ since it captures all the good stuff

Finance. Specifically trading. Trading attracts the mildly neuro atypical. Borderline certifiably not precisely sane. keep buying more of it unless it is a shit stock. does the company have good FCF? do you look at the 10q and chart out its quarterlies? make sure your company is doing good. if it is then keep buying more when it goes down.

if you are investing in pennystocks and stuff this advice doesn't really work because a lot of microcaps just go bankrupt or don't make a lot of money.

Anon you know with small regular investments you can easily average into the market and in the event of a massive correction you can put that idle cash to use. I mean I don't need to tell you this but sitting in cash for any period of time during this period of inflation and price increases is disastrous unless you were buying appreciating assets or having fun.

I mean you at least treated yourself with that cash right you aren't just hoarding it like a miser waiting for a 99% market correction are you? You do know that with inflation the bottom is no elevated far beyond the loss of 2 years ago right?

Everybody who trusted to their lightning reflexes and sage judgement when SMCI melted down was left holding the bag. Stop orders prevent catastrophe. They lock in gains. What are you going to do when a major temblor hits the Bay Area and the HQ for most of the Magnificent 7 lie in fucking ruins? Only stop orders will save you from meltdowns.

nah doubt it. nvidia survived covid already. the software propriety power they have is no where near the same as routers and office phones of cisco.

What are the arguments against doing stock-splits? It's largely academic but I've yet to really see an argument for why certain blue chips trade shares valued in the hundreds. The best argument seems to be that pension funds like it and it sends a confidence signal.

Most traders offer the ability to buy fractional shares, don't they? Schwab does. You want to buy $5 of Apple or Nvidia because you work at Burger Fling and that's all you can afford, go right ahead.

It's not. Most of the people that were laid off were tech workers with 6 month severance packages and massive savings. They won't start applying for unemployment for another month or so. The ones that don't have this have either given up or started working at mcdank's.

Meh. You could say you own a derivative, either way it doesn't matter. You *do* own a share of the company and you're owed dividends etc. from the company and any parties in between.

Defence stocks got #rekt yesterday and are just about recovering today. The issue has been with the Munich security conference demonstrating that there really still isn't a coherent leadership on European defence and the big players still seem somewhat unsure of how quickly spending will ramp up owing to all the other budget pressures going on.

There's a big discussion to have on this, especially with the drone industry being the new meta with institutional uptake being slow and so many start-ups shooting up. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to talk to because /k/ is full of poorfags and /biz/ ignores defence.

So again you could argue technically you own a synthetic share that's a derivative of the share but there really is no practical distinction (except maybe if you exceed what's insured but you should never do that no matter what you're doing.) so no one cares and it's just technical pedantry.
