I usually don't care too much about MACD and RSI but those metrics are looking pretty toppish on Nasdaq and the S&P. The only other times we were around these levels in the last few years were summer 2021 and summer 2023, both preceding pretty significant corrections that lasted at least three months. What's the play this time? I know it's impossible to predict but even if NVDA beats earnings and raises guidance, it and the rest of the tech sector are up huge YTD and could drop hard from here without blowing the companies up. SOXS? UVXY??

I'm looking at shorting LEVI. The IV is only slightly above the HV. It is in its usual overbought range on the RSI. Put/Call ratio is 1.34. Plus I saw a big stack of Levis at Costco, which means they might be having a hard time getting rid of inventory.
That last point isn't all that relevant, but it's there.
On the other hand it looks like an ascending triangle on top of a bull flag.
What is the macro econ news? Is anything happening this week?

Options can give you massive amounts of leverage. Stocks can move by a tiny amount but completely blow up their options markets.
Not only was the guy messing with a volatile meme stock but he was using highly levered options *on margin* which gives you an extra 3x.
It's difficult to get less risk averse than that without being able to trade weird bond derivatives.
