For those of you who haven't checked the chart. No need for any technical analysis. Picrel – this graphical representation of the will of the market – in all its elegant simplicity is all you need right now.

That OP never told anyone to sell. He documented that the price had stopped rising in that moment, which it had: Bitcoin crabbed around 37k for about 20 days. So he was spot-on accurate in his assessment. Notice that he said "The price stopped rising for now." meaning the price would continue to pump later. Also notice he said, quote: "The market still looks bullish on the Monthly; it hasn't even topped yet."

Not the 1D, which is what the OP chart is. The max time the 1D stays topped for (during extreme pumping) is usually 3 to 5 days, hence why OP highlighted that 4 days have already passed since it hit 100. The 1W however can stay topped for longer than that. The 1D isn't that meaningful by itself though. Nobody should look at only the 1D (or only the 1W or 1M for that matter). The 1D must always be viewed in combination with the 1W. The 1W now isn't bottomed so there's room for it to fall, which is why the 1D being topped is something we should pay attention to. However the 1W is already moving up so that must be taken into consideration. If the price falls from here and we see the 1W begins turning downwards, that's very bearish.

You schizos are missing out on the most obvious bull run possible because of your insatiable need to be contrarian about everything. Why the fuck would reputable, law abiding companies like Fidelity and Blackrock define a clear process for buying BTC, report that they are buying it on a daily basis with countless financial analysts watching them, just to NOT BUY anything. It's not even their money, their clients are throwing money at them and all they have to do is ask an intern to OTC buy btc from Coinbase Prime while skimming fees off the top for 0 risk. It would be comically irrational to not simply buy.

We just had a 21% correction from 49k to 38.6k after the ETF launch. I would be surprised to see a bigger drop than that considering how positive the inflows turned out. It's possible the market decided it doesn't make sense to mega dump into the halving when a bull run always follows. I know I'm not attempting to time a max 30% drop when a possible 2-3x is right around the corner. The risk/reward is not worth it for me. I imagine smart money feels similarly because of how illiquid their positions are.

>Imagine playing with finance and having no understanding of its history.
I don't believe the market is going to repeat itself forever in predictable ways that allow you to to perfectly time entries just based on the past. If someone own billions worth of BTC it makes no sense to dump right before a bull run just because "hurr durr it's the halving". Positions of that size are extremely illiquid. They take a long time to accumulate, you can't just dump one day then re-enter shortly after. Smart money dumping here would mean betting on a multi-money bear market that allows them to re-accumulate. I just don't see that being a bet they want to make in an environment where institutions are buying up as much as 500m BTC per day.

Well tickle me pink big brain, finance didn't start at the advent of BTC. You have no idea of the history, proven by yourself. Purely because you have put forward a well formulated retort, i shall give you my spoon and not my knife.

Pic related and still in play to this day, they will not roll over and just let you win! Become the gentile they fear.

Interesting. It actually is an IQ test. The dull little midwits actually truly can't abstract to the level necessary to understand the economic implications of a fixed unit of account. Fascinating.

>The BTC pumpage stopped where it did because the market sentiment has shifted; the market is right now more bearish than bullish (in other words more interested in selling than buying), hence the price stopped rising (note: when there's more selling than buying, the price falls – regardless of your feelings). For now at least. That is why the price isn't higher than it is now (when this was posted).

He could have simply said "Sell pressure has brought Bitcoin down", and that would have given everybody the same amount of information. Holy fucking shit, talk about Dunning Kruger. Textbook definition of an imbecile trying to appear smart.
