Inflation is absolutely great for the state to reduce the state debt. Wholesale prices keep going down ever since 2022 yet everything keeps getting more expensive. Hmmm how weird. You gotta love it.
Yes, look at most stocks, especially the big ones. Peak profits, peak margins, peak divvies. The show must go on after all.
And people are fine with it, paying the higher prices, getting mortgages, taking loans at high rates.
A funny situation indeed. This is why I keep buying. This clown market is gonna continue unless the FED would decide to hike for some reason

I swear 99% of people who bought this shitcoin don't even know what it does. SMCI makes shitty fucking discount server racks. The cheapest shittiest kind. They're who people go to when they can't afford Dell or some other known brand.

It's a very low margin business with zero barrier to entry. They sell pieces of metal with power supplies pretty much. They don't manufacture anything it's all sourced from 3rd parties.

I legit have never seen such a retarded bubble. Like for other overvalued companies you can at least make up a plausible narrative for why they deserve those valuations. For this shit stock it's pure greed and delusion.

They are actually doing shit. ECB has hiked yes, but their debt program, PEPP etc. they are starting to cut back in june or july. The Fed started trimming their balance sheet and hiking. The ECB only did one of these things. It's this bad.

>The PEPP is a temporary asset purchase programme covering private and public sector securities. The Governing Council decided to increase the initial €750 billion envelope for the PEPP by €600 billion on 4 June 2020 and by €500 billion on 10 December, to a new total of €1,850 billion.

>On 14 December 2023 the Governing Council announced that it intends to continue to reinvest, in full, the principal payments from maturing securities purchased under the PEPP during the first half of 2024 and to reduce the PEPP portfolio by €7.5 billion per month on average over the second half of the year. Also quite ironic the FTSE is pumping on better january retail sales. Wanna know why? I saw in january that "bulk/bulkpowders" had some kind of january sale. I was genuinely confused, cause I don't know what the fuck that is, maybe it's some UK thing. Maybe some new bullshit like cybermonday? But the prices for whey powder were lower than during Black friday AND cybermonday 2023 (which is cheaper than black friday). You could call that deflation.

But also why stop it? Even if they could. EU is buying
DIRECTLY LNG from Russia. And that was in the news in regards to spain

https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/spanish-imports-russian-gas-jump-may-nearly-28-total-2023-07-10/

>July 10, 202311:13 AM GMT+2Updated 7 months ago

> (Reuters) - Russia provided 27.9% of Spain's gas imports in May, up from 11.9% a year earlier, Spanish government data showed on Monday.
>Russia was Spain's second biggest supplier of gas in May after Algeria, Cores, an arm of the Energy and Environment Ministry, said in a statement.
>Spain imported the equivalent of 9,663 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of natural gas from Russia, more than twice the 4,357 GWh it imported in May 2022, Cores said.

>The EU is set to import record volumes of liquefied natural gas from Russia this year, despite aiming for the bloc to wean itself off Russian fossil fuels by 2027.

>In the first seven months of this year, Belgium and Spain were the second and third-biggest buyers of Russian LNG behind China, according to analysis of industry data by Global Witness, a nongovernment organisation.

>Overall, EU imports of the super-chilled gas were up 40 per cent between January and July this year compared with the same period in 2021

Jesus christ, finance media is full of such absolute cucks. "Oh FUCK PPI was 0.9% instead of 0.6% [even though it has consistently dropped from over 11%] we better whip up a bunch of FUD!!!!!"

I mean come the fuck on, the implication is that inflation needs to drop in a straight line down with every reading being lower than the last, which is ridiculous. Adults understand that this isn't how the world works.

Meat is definitely cheaper, has been for months. The only people who say otherwise are retards buying literally the most expensive meat in the grocery store. If you're looking for ground beef, chicken thighs, pork chops, pork loin, italian sausage etc. the prices are very fair and at least one of those is usually on sale. My brother was talking about how expensive his groceries were the other day and when I asked what he bought, he listed off a bunch of prepared foods like mashed potatoes and mac n cheese, name brand chips, candy - all the stuff that has been utterly price gouged since 2021. And mostly stuff you could make yourself for so much cheaper if you spent 30 minutes with raw ingredients. People are just retarded and love to complain.
