You obviously don't understand what CME gaps are or what they do. The fact there is a CME gap at 20k means the price of BTC will be 20k later. So why would OP buy now? He'll be able to buy at 20k later. But why buy at 20k when there's a CME gap at 9700? That CME gap means the price will go to 9700. That's half the cost of 20k or in other words buying at 9700 gets you twice as many coins as buying at 20k does.

CME gap expert here. The gap at 3.5k is a very small gap, so it's unlikely to get filled. The ones at 9.7k and 20k are much larger and thus more likely to get filled. They are also newer. It's not impossible that the 3.5k one gets filled, but we shouldn't expect it to get filled. The one at 9.7k is pretty much guaranteed to get filled so it's safe to not buy at 20k and wait for it. That isn't the case for the 3.5k gap.
