How long does it take to get a CDL. I already have a normal driver's license. Are the tests hard and how long did you study before written tests and whatnot? I'm an agency nurse making about 90k but I want to kms doing it. It's way too much work for what I'm getting paid. Trucking looks much better for my temperament and sensibilities

Most truckers make like 50k starting out. Some make 40k or less before they work up. OP is definitely an outlier, I'm assuming he didn't start at 95k and got raises. still very good pay for such little education though. If I could go back I would probably truck rather than going to college.
