You ever met someone who became successful coasting through life only taking suggestions from other people on what they should do? It's kind of like that, they do what people tell them to and it mostly works out pretty well because the general advice they get are safe and efficient even if not always the best, they stick to it and that's the most important part, time in the market for trying in life. Then one day ten of their close friends says something retarded because they read about a dozen other retards on the internet retarding so they do it. Now they've done something retarded and they never learned the capacity to say no to ten retards until now. In the future they will either be more careful, or do something retarded due to peer pressure and not learn anything from their losses because it was totally the rich elites fault they put hundreds of thousands of dollars into a pump and dump at the peak.

It could be worse though. I make a lot of decisions by myself and they tend to be the opposite of what people tell me to do and more often than not I do something retarded. Sometimes I beat the opinion index market and do something smart against all odds though.
