If you were a human in such a situation, you likely wouldn't care that the alien planet you're moving to was 100x better prior to your arrival, because you're still getting in on alien healthcare systems which cure any ailment, logistics systems which allow you to teleport across worlds instantly, euphoric super drugs with zero side effects, and affirmative action that places you first in their school system (when you don't understand what they're scribbling on the board)
