The Biden administration re-tasked all of the government covid propagandists to meme a speculative tech bubble into existence so that the recession we've been in for the last two years gets covered up. Joe Biden is intentionally using the government propaganda apparatus to create another 1929-level stock market bubble focused on politically friendly tech stocks. This will cause a severe depression spanning over a decade when it pops. Look at all the breathless shills in /smg/ now.

The thing to is everyone expects an outright buyout of Paramount. Which is why the stock did the move it did. However this is not the case. Would cost a fuckload doing it that way. The shark's plan is to buy the controlling company which owns Paramount. This would cost chump change. Then use the majority voting power to tell the board of Paramount "here's how its gonna be" Shareholders would get nothing. >NAC Kazatomprom, the world's largest producer of uranium, warned that its 2025 production plans could be harmed by construction delays and continued difficulties in obtaining sulfuric acid, which is used for extracting the heavy metal. Kazakhstan's state uranium company reported flat production for the fourth quarter of 2023 and a 1% fall for the full year. Kazatomprom said it expects production at most of its uranium-mining operations to be around 20% below the levels allowed by permits in 2024, hurt by delays in the construction of surface facilities and infrastructure, but still forecasts modest growth for the year.

The content in question, perceived as humorous by some, may indeed stir discomfort solely in those who are navigating through their own inner turmoil and suffering. As Carl Jung might articulate, humor, in its myriad forms, often mirrors the shadow aspects of our collective psyche, revealing that our reactions to such expressions are deeply entwined with the personal narratives and psychic wounds we carry. Therefore, it is not the humor itself that offends, but rather the resonance of the content with the unhealed and perhaps unrecognized parts of our own being

this is retarded because companies dont start paying a divdend until they make money.

take reits for example. if they dont make a profit, they dont pay out any dividends.

so basically a large portion of this chart is comparing companies who make profit vs companies who dont make profit.

Plus its not taking into account all the money lost to capital gains tax. thats gonna stunt the growth alot when you pay taxes on dividends.

Welcome to where time stands still
No one leaves and no one will
Moon is full, never seems to change
Just labelled mentally deranged
Dream the same thing every night
I see our freedom in my sight
No locked doors, no windows barred
No things to make my brain seem scarred
Sleep, my friend, and you will see
That dream is my reality
They keep me locked up in this cage
Can't they see it's why my brain says "rage

Sanitarium
Leave me be
Sanitarium
Just leave me alone

No you have to understand the bobos are right about this. I agree with them. What they are wrong on is the timing. They are not taking in to account the doom bull. The market is going to pump (in a volatile way) for as long as it possibly can on fake numbers and fairy tales and moon beams. Doing an inverse knife catch on this is not a good idea because the timing is so variable. I don't think there is going to be a serious reversal on the indexes until major catastrophic bad news or until Jerome starts cutting. The crash happens Fed is in the process of cutting and it doesn't help.

The original image posted is unreadable before 1984 because a log plot was not used. Either he is being intentionally misleading or is retarded.

You haven't thought this through. On a log plot the slope is proportional to the growth rate. After 1990, when dividends stop being a useful predictor the lines become parallel because they now have the same growth rate.
When not using a log plot it may wrongfully appear one line is growing faster than the other but it may only be because it's starting from a higher point. Only we can't see any such earlier out-performance because the start of the graph is crushed.

In the most extreme case the observed out performance may be due to a single year at the start of the graph. Seeing as I can't see there, I cannot disprove that.

they have to secure contracts for it 2-3 years out. you don't just buy it off the shelf in these quantities.
then, they have to start filling wells with it. for eight months at least, the well does absolutely fucking nothing. effectively zero production. after the 12th-16th month, the well hits its peak production, and tapers off from there, if and only if you continue to pump acid into it -- albeit at lower levels.
its conceivable that they cannot find suppliers willing to commit to those contracts.

Average into VTI or of you feel sexy VT and average in overtime and then just keep buying them.

Then you need to rewire your brain to understand cheapies are sexy. So when the market crashes just ignore the reclines and continue to buy. If people are declaring total market death forever double down and if everyone on /biz/ is buying puts and fleeing to bonds triple down if the Gold Bugs and Preppers show up All In. Because the amount of shares you can buy in a bear will outweigh the amount you can buy in a bull.

Then Walah you have brought your overall average down and will recover from the crash faster then Cash gang who is still waiting for the bottom to buy in.

Dividends are paid out per share.
