>the west is being flooded w/ immigrants
>every single one of them is remitting half their salary back home
>billions of people are being sustained on this type of income
>those people are becoming more educated, outcompeting westerners, and becoming wealthier, albeit incrementally

If you're in the West and you're itching to make a ton of money, head to the developing world. There are a gazillion opportunities to take your crypto gains and control a little fief of your own somewhere in the world.

>middle/upper-middle class housing development
>trash pickup services
>private security
>financial/microfinancial infrastructure
>private schooling
>basic groceries
>mass market electronics

Et cetera. There are so many options out there. All that remittance money is going somewhere, might as well soak some of it up.

Seconding this. Developed economies have nowhere to go. Developing countries have nowhere to go but up.

If you're looking for places to invest, the first place to look are the top recipients of H1B visas (i.e. skilled workers emigrating to the US) - countries such as:
>India
>China
>South Korea
>Philippines
>Taiwan
>Mexico
>Pakistan

Countries like China and India are far too big (and developing quickly), and others like South Korea are already quite developed, but the others like the Philippines are excellent examples. Some others I'd take a look at:

>Malaysia
>Thailand
>Georgia (the country)
>The Balkans
>Indonesia
>Colombia
>Uruguay
>Argentina (especially recently)
>Morocco
>Egypt
>Vietnam
>Cambodia
>Sri Lanka

There are plenty of others. There are lots of opportunities in a place like India granted just how big it is and how many 'skilled' workers there are, both locally and abroad.

I would also avoid Africa. You know why.

I would also suggest living on the ground in whatever nation you are investing in (or in a slightly more developed one nearby).

For example, I am not wealthy enough to get into Singapore on an EE visa (yet). I do have an apartment in KL though. I'm involved in a private security venture both in KL and Manila and there are so many local idiosyncrasies, business practices, and bureaucracy I wouldnt have known about or been able to deal with if managing remotely or without a local partner.

It's absolutely insane how many people in Manila are wealthy enough to pay for round-the-clock physical guards on their property. Tens of thousands. And this is just one example; the opportunities are endless.

Last point: If you're a westerner DO NOT give up your passport (or buy a new one). Yes, even Americans.

Keep your western travel document. For prestige if nothing else.

Add Paraguay to that list anon. One of thefastest growing economies in LatAm, great people, racially homogeneous, cute gas girls, and perfect weather for year round cultivation.

I really like Paraguay. Surprisingly developed. Not as much remittance as you'd expect, though. Are you doing anything there anon?

Also really like Uruguay in that region for their stable government and VERY generous tax regime for foreigners. Argentina, with Milei, is now a very very interesting long term play too.

I've heard some crazy stories about that actually. Like 12 jeets to a house in toronto sending 100k+ to feed 2 families in gujarat

Also, there's a lot of money to be made in luxury services for the growing upper class in developing countries.

>so brain drain and nothing fucking happening in these countries isn't an issue?
You sweet sweet fool. Brain drain IS the opportunity.

Brain drain is detrimental in a place like Bulgaria where the birth rate is declining and the population is already dangerously low. It's excellent in a place like the Philippines where the population is growing exponentially and western remittance (from very well-paid first-gen immigrants) funds the entire economy
