I have to get this off my chest. Wietse wind is a dick and is bad for the XRP Ledger ecosystem.

1) He constantly complains about validator costs, and whines on social media for money. He doesn't really have a viable business model.

2) Because of (1), he looks at the NFT/Fartsphere and wants to make easy speculative money like the rest of the crypto bros. Thus, he turns his attention to converting the XRP ledger into an NFT farspace that his only product (the XUMM app) would be able to somehow cater to and make income off of.

3) Hooks is a stupid idea. Yes, I get it Wietse Wind, you didn't go to college, you started a smartphone app company when you were still in school, and that makes you smarter than the entire Ripple team. It's a stupid idea and it doesn't belong on the Main network. Why create an incomplete solution to a problem that causes the system to run at a limp??? No.

4) Because he didn't get his way with Hooks, he now thinks that Ripple is stifling developers on the XRP ledger. Well guess what, you aren't a real developer. You are just a bag of digital farts. The Xumm app is "OK". Just Ok. That's it. Smartphone apps rank at the bottom of the list in terms of developer complexity and necessity to the ecosystem.

5) Listening to wietse wind and his digital coterie complain about lack of support while simultaneously claiming to be the next incarnation of Steve Jobs... Bro. Just don't.
He has people like Yassin Mobarak, David Fuelling, all talking about how much it sucks that clowns like this can't make a ton of speculative bubble gum cash like Ethereum and Solana are doing.

XRP is for Payments. Validators were supposed to be run by business doing payments. In the future, the banks that use XRP will be running the validators. They can't do that yet, because it would show their hand.

Simple as.

I mean he finally bent the knee. AMM is here, it will be deployed. The faggot took forever when he should’ve been #1 in line to approve this shit yet I do feel like he did all of this out of spite for exactly the reasons you have mentioned. XAH is good because it deletes XRP from circulation, and hopefully someday it will be fully interoperable with XRPL, thus creating a smart contract fuel demand for XRP itself
AMM makes it all retarded though. There’s only a handful of actual use cases that banks need, a DEX with AMM is literally the most important thing to ever happen in crypto.
