can you elaborate by chance? most people never describe exactly what they're doing, or even have the cognizance to realize what they did wrong afterwards. its pretty important that people that lose crypto explain exactly as how it happened so other people can learn how to avoid it

from my understanding clicking a link should never be enough. its either a) clicking link + signing a malicious transaction or b) downloading a malicious program + executing it

please be as descriptive as possible

just gonna assume thats what happened. theres so many misconceptions in crypto. im like 99% sure you can A) click any link you want B) connect to any site you want C) sell/burn any scam token you want (they wont be sellable, but you can try on a legit exchange)

common understanding is you shouldnt do any of those things, and im pretty sure they're all 100% safe

>worst financial decision

I graduated from a T20 law school and my degree basically guaranteed a Big Law™ job. Instead, I went to seminary and worked in church ministry for five years. The financial trajectory of my life was significantly affected by this decision.

HOWEVER, I met my wife while in seminary. I was her first boyfriend. We have a family now. I pivoted back to law after we got married and I am making a decent salary at a boutique firm.

My gfs prior to my Jesus career detour were high body count Ro*sTies. I believe I made the right decision even though my salary is ~1/3 of what it otherwise could have been.

Actually it's not even the money I am worried about. Who gives a shit about money? It's the time that I lost that keeps me up at night. So much wasted time. I have never applied anything from uni.

That’s what I did with the last bear market. It is hard tho. I bumped up my Roth from 5% to 10% and went from 200 a check in my after tax brokerage over double, whatever I could afford really. It hurt putting $450 into my brokerage after two weeks of work and the account is down 1k in a day.

Moving in with my girlfriend when I was 22 for easier access to pussy, instead of just staying at home with my parents. It was because of her I was forced to get my first job at 23 and help pay the bills. I literally lived paycheque to paycheque for the rest of my 20s; paying rent, eating out, going on holidays, etc. She was even worse with money than me since she earned more but would max out her credit-cards and take out loans purely to consume. In a way I would have been happier just being a NEET sitting on my PC at home and jerking off to sexy girls online for free.

Had 900 shares of AMD at a $9 avg. Wrote covered calls at $40 in Dec. 2019 and had them all exercised. Got pissed and revenge traded all of it on Puts in Jan and Feb 2020 that expired worthless. Mostly because I knew about the upcoming covid shit ahead of time thanks to 4chan but my timing was off.

Had to pay tax on 2019 profits while losing it all. Still writing it off and now AMD is looking to hit $200. Kills me everytime I look at it.

Also almost bought BTC when it was under $5 back in college working helpdesk and all us nerds were talking about it. Got like halfway into setting up the necessary accounts and decided it was to much trouble and went out instead.

What's so bad about this? Did you cash out all your equity or something?
I refinanced a couple years ago, going from 4.5% to 2.8% interest rate, I didn't cash out the equity though. It was one of the best moves I made. Brought my $1100 a month mortgage down to $685 and I have been DCA the difference into LINK ever since
