After I left the army in the early 2000s I went back to college. By this point I was in my late 20s and all the girls in my classes were these cute little Asian 18 year olds. Knowing there was no turning back at this point I told her that I was part of a team that built invisible hot air balloons. She seemed shocked but continued to ask more questions about my job and the balloons. One day she asks me to go to dinner with both her and her ‘dad’. So I agree and we all meet for dinner. Mei asks me to tell her dad what i told her about the invisible hot air balloons. So I told him, I mentioned they were already in use over Russia and China and the Middle East and no one has ever detected them. I also mentioned they were powered by quantum fusion energy which I totally made up. It was at that point Mei’s dad yelled something at her in Chinese and he stormed out. Mei said I had to leave and that was the last time I ever saw her.

I'm not sure if this is a made up story but there was a guy who was trying to sell secrets to the chinks and one day a beautiful young Chinese woman showed up and told him she could arrange to get him in contact with the right people and would "go with him" to China when everything was settled if you know what I mean. I work in defense as an engineer with a clearance. Cases of people selling secrets end up being sold cheaply, like just a few 100k which when you're already getting paid 6 figures isn't that big a deal for total assrape prison time since it's either feds or Chinese who leave you out to dry.
