Nothing bad will happen to you, you won’t be homeless or starve. You just won’t have your *wants* met. That’s it. Nobody is requiring you to work. So just quit if you’d rather be NEET. Simple as.

what about a life of aimlessness and mediocrity, is that not at all bad?
how to not become that?

It is, and that's why (most) NEETs are a bunch of miserable fucks fantasizing about suicide

Ok but here’s the problem, the way the neetbux system is set up, you’re only given enough to survive and you can’t bank the money or earn income past some paltry amount. You’re a slave albeit a more comfortable one.

I’m a security guard and I get paid to sit on my ass. I regularly work overtime and make 70k a year. I am not exaggerating, I work overnight in an airport. There’s a few people who missed their flights in the concourses, but I just go sit in empty offices past keypad locked access points and only come out into the public areas if my dispatch calls about something. I just read, listen to podcasts, shitpost, etc. the time flys by

Everyone needs to take the security guard pill. I’m basically a NEET but earn an income too

Joke's on you: working wasn't doing a fucking thing toward my "wants."

It's ridiculous. I go to the homeless subreddit to feel better about myself, but sometimes see people talking about how they're being hooked up with basically free housing by the government.

I work a plushy office job now but I did security in college. I do remember it being very comfortable, especially if you're indoors and especially if you're sitting down.
That being said, OP I have large ambitions beyond just survival and need money to achieve them. A job with invested returns is my means to achieve that.
