I see what you're saying... I think the bonkers P/E ratio is a worry... but it's hard for me to imagine them having any real pullback on price. Maybe to the 160s, but if NVDA taught me anything about semis last year... I only see up long term.

Most of the time you just sell the contract when you're done with it, and collect the difference on premium. If you do hold and choose to exercise, then yes, you purchase the stock at the strike price designated.

Some brokerages allow a cashless exercise where they will buy the stock at the SP, and sell it at the current market value for you (and a fee).

Most of the time you just sell the contract for (hopefully) an increased premium.

No, all this does is put a *pause* on permits for *new* operations. There are already plenty of LNG export operations in place. In fact, the more facilities there are the more demand is created because they buy dry gas to convert into liquid and sell. At any rate, it doesn't matter much at all to the trader because the beauty of NATGAS is the width of regular short term ranges which adjust to whatever the average is for any given longer timeframe.

there's something very metaphorical, allegorical, about tomorrow's nfc championship matchup between the san francisco 49ers and the detroit lions. the phrasing alone evokes the situation, "san francisco 49ers," a name synonymous with glory, success, and perennial achievement, and then you have "detroit lions," a punchline, an insult, a label no one wants placed upon them. indeed detroit's dejected, underdog baggage has attracted to it the hopes of america's working class like a corpse attracts flies. as such, i expect every aristocratic /biz/raeli to support the san francisco side, and cheer as the versatility and wisdom of capital overmasters the brutish enthusiasm of labor.

Ah so desu. Then try KLAC. They have 60% global market share in QA manufacturing equipment for the semiconductor industry, which is like 10% of the total. Cash flow is great and their P/E is very reasonable, and with the move towards reshoring, *eventually* new fabs will start popping up all over the place.

Reality check: Hot Wheels isn't doing anything about the illegals in San Antonio: they already practically run the joint. Nor are any of those states trying to establish a chain of custody to get illegals off their turf. Nor are they filing suit for breach of, oh I don't know, Article 4 to almost every immigration law we have on the books. This is all a bunch of fucking grandstanding. If it proceeds to arrests and gunfire and Mayorkas hanging from his heels on Telegraph Avenue I will be happy as hell, but until then? It's all more bullshit.

I think if you really want good returns it is better to save it in a HYA savings account until you find a good bargain or the market does a huge overall downturn. at that point buying a good company for cheap shares is probably going to give you pretty good outperformance. also don't overly diversify find a couple good companies and stick with them.

I was over at my dads house the other day helping with some household chores. He lives in a very rural area of a very red state. At the end of the day we went to one of the nearby country bars. It’s the kind of place that farmers, truckers, legit cowboy boot wearers and the working class go to unwind with a cold one.

President Biden was on the TV and the local gun store owner said to his auto mechanic (friends since high school),

“You know what? He ain’t so bad. The economy is recovering, nobody’s rioting, and we’re standing up on the world stage again. Can’t believe I’m saying this but Ol’ Scranton Joe’s got my vote this year.”

I looked around and all I saw were heads nodding in agreement. I heard a few calls of “Yes sir” and “Damn Straight” from the men around me. Even saw the lonely ball cap wearing farmer in the corner raise his drink with a nod.

sorry i took so long to respond, i just returned from the theater. i don't give internal combustion engines a second thought in my electric car or on my e-bike, other than what an unnecessary nuisance they are.
and i'm sure there's many things lions fans understand that i never will, like huddling around the stove in the flophouse high on crack betting against the pistons - reminiscing about the good times when there was still a newspaper to shove into your clothes for warmth. that is so true. the thought brings my tender soul to tears and i brush it away gently with my plump, velvety fingers. i'm so glad i'm not a detroit loyins fan.

That was not really the point, as he still wanted to push his face into "her" ass.

Also the ass vs titties debate is retarded. Yes, it seems like white men prefer tits over asses. But can we really tell it is not forced for the sake of distinctioning themselves from blacks who somewhat clearly prefer asses? Maybe it has to do with the fact that black women regularly have larger asses and not only because of fat, but it seems like because they have larger muscles? We could even go as far as to say, that it maybe even has to do with nonwhites being overwhelmingly lactose intolerant (not towards human breastmilk, but afterwards cowmilk), thus breasts which produce milk are automatically not really an object of desire for them.

All retarded "I'm team XXXX" bullshit. I mean, I see it in US news, fuckin everywhere, Team Biden, Team this and that.

Fuck you, sometimes I prefer tits, sometimes asses. Most important is still the face. And if you are not attracted to an ass, you are not white, but you are actually gay.

In germany it is called "Sparplan". Which means savingplan. I actually can't comprehend how this is legally acceptable. Don't know if anybody has went to court for this. But just from a competition law and retailprotection law standpoint this goes above my head. I can't understand how this is ok. You are literally buying something, which is the opposite of saving.

Glorified consulting agency. Don't ever invest in consulting. They have to make bespoke products for each client and project (no scalability). Their assets are entirely human talent which can easily evaporate because of better opportunities or simple mismanagement. It is just such a bad business to invest in. Like a tech company or pharma can hire a bunch of smart people to make a good product that they can patent and mass produce. A company like Palantir has to make something new constantly and also constantly market to new businesses and even the same businesses they do contracts with in order to solve new problems or get new projects.
