Can someone explain (in detail) the differences between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin? I don't understand the argument between both users. Aren't they totally different cryptocurrencies, like comparing Bitcoin to Etherium?

Due to the larger block size, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) works faster and has lower transaction fees. Furthermore, Bitcoin Cash supports smart contracts and ecosystem apps.

Yea bitcoin cash is actually usable as a currency. Hope that helps.

There are small technical differences between the too but it's really not meaningful for th average user.
What it really boils down to is that BCH was started after a battle of egos within the BTC developers.

Bcash is a carbon copy of Bitcoin except they increased the block size. Which increases capacity for transactions, thereby making transactions cheaper.

It still sucks as a means of payment -- ten minute confirmation times -- but it's at least cheaper to send and receive crypto using Bcash compared to Bitcoin. Of course there are much better cryptos for fast, cheap payments, like Ripple for example, but Bcash is at least marginally better than Bitcoin in this one respect.

But at the end of the day, nobody pays for coffee using crypto, and nobody even talks anymore about a future where we'll pay for coffee using crypto. So there's not any reason for Bcash to exist.

And again, even if people did start paying for coffee using crypto, they'd use something like Ripple, not Bcash.

Worthless shitcoin.

Bitcoin as you know is a digital currency, and bitcoin cash is the same currency but in paper. If you go to the bank you can swap your BCH for paper Bitcoin.

BCH is a fork of bitcoin that has bigger blocks, which permits cheaper fees but makes the network less decentralized and less secure by making it harder to have profitable mining.

I care, and I don't care about BTC because it's pretty much useless to me. I still buy crap with BCH though.
