Typically in a bull market these are left alone. Sort of like how gaps are left but bears scream about how they must be filled. If this is an actual bull market 34k won't be touched. It's really not that much liquidity in the grand scheme, and we don't have manipulators like ftx and binance scam wicking anymore.

> If this is an actual bull market 34k won't be touched
Historically false, a drop to the zone that acted as support 3 times during the previous bull, then as resistance 2 times (and then as support again <- we are almost here) is perfectly normal and always happened; it represents the people that bought at the bottom (between 15k and 20k this time around) cashing out a reasonable profit. In this cycle this zone is precisely around 32k.
Be thankful for the slurp opportunity and don't worry at all, anything below the teal line is great to buy.

as to the thread at hand i have seen these liquidity levels evaporate or get added way too many times to believe in them
a lot of it is phantom liquidity that gets pulled the moment the price gets near it
we had live updates from the heat maps in late 21 and early 22 and it was non stop fuckery

You can clearly see from this what i'm talking about.
The zone that acted as support during the yellow-to-green days gets broken downwards (end of the pink rectangles), then becomes a resistance in the green-to-blue days. For the current cycle, this corresponds to our 30k-ish (see the same support that we had in Jul 2021 acting as resistance around Jul 2023). Then, after it's broken upwards as resistance (end of the green rectangle), it acts as support once again (pink circles) before the takeoff. Usually, we can see that the upper bound of the zone is taken as support. Which coincidentally should be exactly around 34k, depending on volatility.

so that support won't be retested this time, for the first time in history? why is that?
don't you think the people in 2020 and 2016 had precisely your same toughts driven by the positive sentiment of the pre-halving (lame) pump?
A correction to that level would be now perfectly normal and shouldn't worry any bull. It's just the people who bought in the green days taking profits (and probably in order rebuy later). I mean just literally look at the 3 graphs and see what happened each time it started to go down during the blue days.
>>57405083
Yes i did lol, thank you.

Anyway, in conclusion, a correction now would be ok and on schedule, so buy if it happens and after that enjoy the ride unironically

>> No.57407763

in my opinion it will bounch exactly when it touches the bottom red line )in the last graph about 2024).
This means that it depends on how long we crab at this price. The more we consolidate here, the higher will be the low.
This means that, if it were to literally make a single big red candle today, the bottom won't be before under 30k (probably 30k), the lower bound of that pink band you can see.
If instead, it crabs for a while and drops later (like it did in 2016 and 2020, so even after the halving), the lower red line will be higher, so probably like in the 32 to 35k area (upper bound of the pink band), like it previously did.
Of course anything is possible, maybe we have an anticipated and on-steroids run, but it would be the first time ever in this phase.

visual representation of the 2 cases (if we drop immediately or later instead).
The orange lines of course are totally random and depend on the volatility; no one knows how it'll behave inside the red channel, it could be more like 2016 (almost a straight line up), more line 2020 (pandemic anomaly) or even something new (but it shouldn't break it, in any of the two directions for now).

What exactly makes you believe we'll go any lower than, at worst, 32k? Time is on the bull's side, as Grayscale only has limited BTC reserves and FTX can only go bankrupt and liquidate its supply once. The new ETFs meanwhile just slurp up all of these selloffs with no sign of stopping.

all that remains to be seen is timeline. if it's like 2016 and 2020, we get it after the halving. based on where we are relative to the 21 high, and the general increase in efficiency since then, it looks like it will dump before the halving
