The original bill (HB114) if left intact would've seen me get a 13% pay hike in July and a 4% in 2025. I check this page from time to time to see the status and to see if any changes happen to it. Kek my state lowered the state income tax. Great, in theory. What they did to offset that was to put tax on services that formerly had none. So the tax rate since they started this, has gone down 1.5%. Big whoop. Put another way. I make decent salary. Not excessive fat but not poverty tier either. The gains I got via the tax cut uh well simply cut out going to MCD's twice a week and boom there's your "cut" right there. So in other words it's a big fat nothing. Sure if you were a company or pulling down 100,000 or more then you'd feel it more. But for everyone else it's a big fat joke.

She drinks this drink sitting on the counter. Only its not that kinda drink. It instead makes the drinker create clones of themselves. The only way to end this is to uh make the clones all lose energy. The scientist boyfriend dude fucks all the clones till they all fade away. (also fucks the original). At the end it's shown the tables have turned. He drinks the drink. She gets fucked by 4 clones of him.

they are also tied to the credit of their issuer, which is not JP morgan - the fund buys ETNs from other issuers.

AMD going back to 161, maybe as low as 148. There was a whale betting that NVDA would dump to 560 too. The market will probably face a market wide selloff if it double tops at the previous high (2 years ago) or otherwise face a large pullback to previous support levels. Much of this may be spurred by profit taking before NVDA and AMD report their quarterly profits this month.

When I first moved to Atlanta, there was "ADM" graffiti spray painted on everything. After I'd been there for a few years, I rented a loft next to the train tracks. When the trains would go by the only new train cars I ever saw were the ADM ones: brand new and painted with sci-fi ADM molecule logos. The train cars always said "sweeteners" on the side, but that whole situation with ADM the food company, those train cars, and that graffiti remains puzzling to me to this day, and I highly doubt that this thing with the CFO is unrelated.

>Bloomberg reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Chinese policymakers are seeking to mobilise about 2 trillion yuan ($278.53 billion), mainly from the offshore accounts of Chinese state-owned enterprises, as part of a stabilisation fund to buy shares onshore through the Hong Kong exchange link
Bloomberg said Chinese officials have allotted at least 300 billion yuan of local funds to invest in onshore shares through China Securities Finance Corp or Central Huijin Investment Ltd. They are also weighing other options and may announce some of them as soon as this week if approved by the top leadership of the country, according to the report. The China Securities Regulatory Commission could not be immediately reached for a comment.

How strict are you about your backtesting? Because if you backtest with any amount of "well obviously I wouldn't do this here because..." that's real bad. All strategies have drawdown. It's entirely possible to start trading right in a shitty spot for your strategy. If you know the strategy works over time and know didn't inject bias in to your backtest, keep going.

In physics it's called observer effect, similar to the Heisenberg theory that you can have knowledge of one or the other, but not both.
Effectively, because you're buying, you are the market maker. The back tests you ran were without you in the system.
This has probably nothing to do with your broker selling your info or even trading against you.

Are you only realizing something should be backtested well after the move's played out? We're in a time of very rapid regime shifts, so if something works for 3 months, you don't notice it for 2, then spend a week setting up/backtesting, then you'll see 3 weeks before getting heemed.

TA strategy backtesting should ideally be done on multiple historical periods with a variety of market conditions. When I was putting mine together I did some in the 1970s, 80s, 90s. I looked at dot com crash and 2008 to see how it would do there. There's a nasty trap you can fall in to with backtesting relatively recent years. If you, for example, did a test on stuff from 2008 bottom up to present, you might be in some trouble. That section of price action should be only one of several you test.

It's simpler than that, paper trading assumes fill at the midprice, which is uncommon except for highly liquid order books like SPY or QQQ. Bid-ask of say 0.5% means you effectively lose that much on every trade (half going in, half going out). In this theoretical scenario, 10 trades in a day will underperform a paper trading account by 5%.

I am a europoor and I think this. Wages have never been this crazy high. A simple arborist makes more than a master-level engineer. If you have any valuable experience, you can get so much money in any job nowadays. Even shit tier jobs now pay well.
Food is still pretty cheap if you don't buy crap. The only thing that is still a bit crazy are house prices but loans are still pretty cheap here.

>> No.57381125

I think it's weaker than it looks but it's not a recession yet and there may not even be one. PCI is inaccurately hot because of how they're calculating shelter and autos (compare to new tenant index and mannheim). PCE is probably more accurate and tends to be flat to disinflationary. So inflation looks pretty done.

All the non-farm payroll and those kinds of jobs reports are being revised down, I think 11 of the last 12 reports were revised down or something like that. Short term we're in layoff season and long term a lot of the jobs are part time or government made, so it's weaker than it looks. But it's not like job creation is flat or unemployment is out of control. They're both OK.

Middle East Supply Chain Disruption 2: Revengeance is a factor. So is how the Fed handles the cuts. But a soft or at least soft-ish landing isn't impossible from here. After that we'll see.

If inflation is low, a somewhat hot PCE might indicate that the economy is heating up in a positive way. After periods of economic downturn or slow growth, an increase in consumer spending (reflected in a rising PCE) can signal a recovering economy. Consumers may be feeling more confident about their financial situations, leading to increased spending.
