So I've been listening to Sam's weird psuedo-podcast shit for a while and I get the system; effectively just take out massive amounts of debt and never pay it. The problem is how you are likely not 100% free from getting ass fucked. Will they just send your debt to a collection agency or will they put a lien on your house?

I don't think it's worth it, anon. If you do it all the better to you; fuck the banks. But I got a wife and a house and a peaceful life and the banks trying to fuck me does not make that better.

Granted, this was for professional use, but...
We used digital calipers and a digital scale to measure large quantities of clams and mussels. The devices were hooked to a laptop and at the press of a button on each device, the data was entered into a spreadsheet.
No typos, way faster.

Woah ive seen that type of metrology before. Absolutely Excellent for mass production, probability not so much. You ever hear of those ultrasonic measuring gauges? Its cheaper than a sigma or xmr analyzer, it measures usin bouncing soundwaves in a material that its calibrated to read. If what you're measuring is a different material than what the gauge is calibrated, it will read an entirely different thickness. Iused one to confirm my coins to their thickness, passed. Also based and metrology pilled anon

Hey anons in the cold, put a silver coin outside to freeze, then measure it, then leave it in your pocket till the coins hot, then measure it again. You may need something finer than calipers but i think you might be able to read different values from when its cold and when its hot.

Yeah, if you are measuring hundreds or thousands of coins per day then you are gonna want digital calipers unless you are unusually proficient with dial calipers. But for occasional use, digital calipers will have a dead battery every other time you pick up the damn thing. Then you will be forced to decide is you want to put in a $5+ battery or risk not taking the measurement. Higher quality digital calipers have significantly better battery life but it still isn't infinite.
Jannies, this post is on-topic because mechanical validation is a key component of risk management when you are investing in PMs.

a)Buy equipment to slice kilo silver bars into smaller smeltable 'amazon jeweler kit' size bars/coins (gram bars/gram coins)

I fucked up with the amazon jewelry kit. I measured it out and on paper the math makes sense; but looking at these molds, and I would say there is no way in hell I am doing a whole kilo in these tiny as crucibles/molds.

Someone please calm me down!
I signed an offer for a house.
And I can't afford it.
I probably need 50k of credit/mortgage (for a 350k house) and everyone is telling me to calm the fuck down and that I'm super lucky to be able to just pay most of it, but still, I never ever had a credit in my life (besides the usual
>yeah mom, I'll repay you those 5 bucks when I get my pocket money on the weekend
or later
>fuck, I'm outta money, can you buy me a beer? I'll owe you one next weekend
stuff.
I can't wrap my mind around owing such a large sum to a bank.
Plus, for those 50k I need, I gotta pay back like 80k.
And for what?
Sure, back in the day, it made sense for the bank, since they had to make money on credits to cover their risks (or rather, the risks of the folks that deposited the money with them), but nowadays they can just "make" this money out of thin air, so they don't have any fucking risk they gotta cover.

Because I had hoped to do it with 100% my money (well, with some help from my parents, desu). I'm just very nervous to pop my debt-cherry.
>You could buy land and build a small house for 50k$ and only have to owe that. Or you can not take on any debt and be free.
What? I buy/build a house for 50k I have 250k left over, but sadly, that's not possible where I am (pic related). 350k already is the cheapest option I've found if you can't be a full-time home renovator for years.

Yeah, I've got an exit 'till end of next week, but if I don't do this, it's either being a rentoid forever, or a much bigger loan for another house.
And everyone and their mother has huge ass loans and appears to be just fine.
There's thousands of folks who've got houses way over half a million € and they just yolod it with a <100k downpaiment.
So a 300k downpaiment for a 350k house seems very sensible, but still, apparently my mind just errors out when it contemplates debt.

Real estate is a scam and playing the game makes it last longer. I own my home outright at 26 because I had no life since 18, bought a shitbox with an acre of land, and renovated it when I had the money. All cash, no bank, no debt. DO THIS. THIS IS HOW YOU OBTAIN ECONOMIC FREEDOM.

Those fucks with their faggot houses and loans and 30 year fucking slave death contracts (mortage in french, your gay EU ass should know lol) have committed suicide.

Tell me the numbers. What's rent look like. What's the home and where you're renting look like? Where can you move to pay lower rent while making similar money?

Not mine, just a collage from years of vicarious living. What I see are compact, simple wood stoves and straight through installation to the roof versus out a wall. "Straight is great" says the local wood stove people I bought mine from.

The biggest value is scale. This is small. Single rooms. Low square footage. Costs nothing compared to the conventional expectations of 2400+ sqft.

For example, you can easily install a small stove cheaply in a small cabin. It cost me 3000$ because of the sheer ass pain I was unwilling to undergo to install it in my normie house.

Don't get me started on grid electric and water. Fuck.

so how flipping works is you pay LESS than the item is worth, and then sell it for more than you paid for it. Usually a lot more.
I regularly buy coins for $25 and sell them for $300-$1000. If I buy a coin for $25 and sell it for $1000 I didn't flip a $25 coin, I flipped a $1000 coin.

I think it's more common for weed shipments since you can smell it if it isn't packed really well, and wtf are you gonna do? report it?

Happen to me fairly often, i mean the package arriving opened or in a postal bag because the envelop was unsealed/teared open. But the items within were missing only once, and i'm 99% sure it was the private seller (an italian, thus why i'm sure of a scam), it was for a MTG card i ordered who then went up in value big time.
He already started to whine about it prior to sending me the card. And the envelop "strangely" arrived opened and with nothing inside but an A4 folded blank page.
MKM refunded me in full, stamp cost included.

But this issue of open mail really is becoming concerning, it mainly bow down to envelop makers being insanely stingy on the glue since 2021. They cut every corner possible and the quality went out of the window while prices did a x2.
Anyone with a bit of common sense would add tape to seal their envelops, but newfags sometimes aren't thinking of this.

Other times it's the postal machines chewing up the envelops too, happened half a dozen times to me (but over thousands upon thousands of sales so it's still relatively uncommon). But overall postmen are very honest people. They never steal your stuff. Unless it's in Italy.

I've spent too much time figuring out what makes me the happiest and here it is:

>saving cash for other things but still allocating a little over 500$ a month to metals.

>1/10 oz gold
>a daily silver quarter at the end of my workday (premium is less than a dollar extra and I get the daily little completion token to fill a cigar box)
>one slabbed or TEP coin or round
>100$ for the eBay auction house

With all this I stack something like 10 oz of silver and a 1/10 oz of gold monthly while I work towards making more money.

Some on here will shit blood if you don't adhere to the lamest stacking routines possible. They're mainly Europeans and I can't blame them; they're lesser creatures.

for me it's silver junk, you see now you can buy it below spot even, the lower the silver content, the more copper you get for free. By the time silver regains it's true value with a 1:10 g/s ratio the silver junk will benefit most of the hidden potential silver holds. You can fill your treasure chest quicker with silver junk, they come in various different designs (depending where you live), are neat to look at and fumble. I love buying 100 or more junk coins at once, taking each single one into my hands, observing it.

Super based slurps, you're on fire lately fren. I really like the $11 lot of 5 old European coins and am very interested in seeing the results of your super rare 1892 Korona, that should be a particularly lucrative flip. I posted the other day my $77 purchase of these huge old Kopecks, the Russian 1788 5 kopecks looks like a nice upgrade but the 45mm 65 gram 1777 Siberian 10 kopecks was what i really wanted. The local Siberian copper they used contained a little silver hence the "lighter" weight, would've been ~102 grams if made with pure copper like the normal Imperial kopecks.

Kek that's pretty insane.
Never ended up with one that big, but not long ago i bid on an auction for a swedish "plate" copper money straight out of Carlsberg's copper mines from the 1700s, it was for a 400gr one, but it went far above what i was comfortable with. Idk if you ever heard of it? (probably,
knowing you lol).

>it doesn't look sus to me but should still be scrutinized more closely
Sure i'll do my best, + post higher res pics once it shows up, but i'm fairly confident it's the real deal because of the seller's profile. He had all kind of wonderful coins from a collection he auctioned through the day (of which i won none but this pfennig). Many were fantastic pieces of history, like convenience money struck during long sieges.

This place would already have died if we were to watch the same boring indian rounds & maple leaf all day long, while reasserting the same basic arguments of jewtubers about PMs being a protection against tyranny and real money.
Yeah we all know that and said it a gazillion time already.

Now, as for any general, it's adapt or die from boredom. And numismatics & exo + antique items made out of PMs are exactly helping us achieve that : infinite variety of history & artistic rich artifacts who are also very /biz/ efficient.
I wish i joined this rabbit hole sooner because i'm having more fun than ever while i simply was weight-maxxing.
Now most regulars here achieved their PMs shield against globohomo, it's time for some of us to swap to a more fulfilling, yet highly related, hobby.

Also be sure to take a tour and determine if there might be any health impact. No need to be breathing fumes and dust and stuff for a low wage. Remember you could always work your way up to assistant manager at Target and the worst you'll encounter is a smelly bathroom. As knowledge and exposure expands many stackers become savvy investors in or collectors of relevant antiques and rarities without really realizing it, and if they're any good at it the gains are way more attractive than the yields from the appreciation of basic bullion due to spot creeping up or fomo hype. It's so much more interesting and rewarding to play with numismatics and artifacts too than just mechanically stack weight without much if any sovl.
