I’m actually kind of glad sergey dumps his profits directly into their war chest. They get more money and time developing products that albeit might not be used. Are ready for further development at anytime.

Companies routinely develop for billions of dollars to ultimately see their products not come to fruition. LINK has a strong track record for things like proof of reserve, town crier, deca, and other theoretical services that are a compliment to what chainlink develops.


For example town crier. Some third party could further develop on that platform and build an on chain Expedia, Obi, or honey inc service that relies on up to date feeds.

But the main issue is that to have thousands of people to onboard a new coding language costs six figures minimum. If chainlink active developers rush towards 100s of people at once they’re going to need that on-ramp. Dumping is actually good in this case to facilitate third party demand.
