Hello.

>> No.57290373 [DELETED]

It looks like inflation is going to get worse with chain supply getting absolutely wrekt with the crisis in Yemen. I don't see how oil prices are going to hold. The msm will blame the Houthis for this rise and prices and not that completely precarious situation we are in caused by the Fed or the genocidal zionist maniacs who won't stand down.
Seems like a potentially catastrophic stagflation event if things don't cool down.

Incredibly enough, the strongest anti war faction right now is the brain dead left supporting Palestine and the deescalation of war. This is one area they mog conservatives on.
But the left can be whipped into being pro war rather easily, as we have seen quite glaringly with Ukraine. Those losers fell right in line once the MSM blamed evil Putin. So yeah I imagine there will be some sort of tragedy to suddenly make the Houthis le bad guys.

The digital numbers are worth even less. Due to fractional reserve banking, $1 in cash deposits gets multiplied over and over to hundreds of dollars. Then rhe digital ledgers are rehypothecated and those hundreds are turned into just under 2 grand, on top of that they charge a trillion a year in interest payments on the national debt which they print. This is why i support precious metals

>> No.57290694

Yeah, the gatekeeping has gotta go. The quantity of PMs or guns anons have bothered to arrange and take a pic of has no bearing on the quality of their opinions.

So if I want to buy $10k of gold I have to report that to the IRS, or if I buy through a dealer they are required to get my information like social security number and stuff like that and if I ever sell it I have to report it on a 1099-B for gains and losses. And anything outside that involves the black market. That all sounds like a huge hassle.

Lol. Watched a youtube video of a Philippines "deployment" for a cooperative exercise. All the Mareeeen line infantry were literal brown mutts of every flavor from South America to SE Asia, with a few token nogs. I think there were 3 whole white guys in it, they were the ones directing the unloading and driving of the vehicles and equipment off of the ships to ensure the mutt drivers don't crash it yet before the exercise even begins. Quite a contrast from the average unit just 50 years ago that was essentially all white. They had an article the other day on military.com too, kvetching about fuck whitey, but also that whitey isn't joining zog military anymore and their recruiting numbers are severely down, before doubling down with more fuck whitey at the end of the article, especially since southern whites have apparently become borderline nonexistent in recruitment numbers in comparison to before whereas they previously made up the nearly the majority of white recruits. The double speak in it was astounding. An interesting read for any that want to see just how vulnerable (((they))) are becoming.

It's a "Circumpunct", likely a solar and soul symbol having deep and complex cosmological and spiritual significance. Studied closely you can see that it was cut into the blade, engraved by spinning something like a compass with a stationary point in the middle and cutting tip to carve out the circles. Not as challenging as some of the fancy geometric engravings they were capable of but way more potent and meaningful, that little bog-preserved blade is one of the finest and rarest things I own.

Hello /pmg/ there is a question that has been nagging on me for some time. Some context first,
We understand the need of pms and we understand the cliff of oblivion we stand on as the global monetary system hangs precariously at its end of life. I've heard it said in Austrian circles that in a hyperinflationary economy, the most important thing is money. Not food, or water, obviously these things are essential to life, but a functioning monetary medium is essential for the life of what you might call "society" and the order and stability that stems from it. Without a functioning money there is no means to conduct commerce, thus there is no economy, there is no means for people to transfer the products of their labor energy in exchange for the things they cannot produce themselves. Barter is the natural solution to this asuming you have something to barter with, and barter with gold and silver is simply the most efficient means of barter. Therefore we can see that a functioning monetary system is something that can spring up naturally, as a matter of necessity.

The question then is the matter of the actual pricing structure. How do we actually determine the prices of things when a monetary regression takes place? Must we really look at historical ledgers and see what baskets of apple's and boxes of nails cost in 1850? Does any of this information even exist anymore? Or is it just the ephemeral *free market* that determines prices by some unknowable force.
It is all well and good to recognize the potential purchasing power of pms, but it seems to me that any group of people that can determine the new price signal the fastest will not only overcome the hardship of credit collapse, they will restart and expand their new economy the fastest, reorganizing power and wealth on a base level. Here are some metals I like to stack, thank you for your consideration. Something to think about at least.

I'd have no problem wheeling and dealing and would expect the mysterious forces of the free market to quickly find a functional equilibrium. Regarding nails or agricultural products, if you want the autist's ideal reference set I highly recommend the "Historical Statistics of the United States Colonial Times to 1970", 2 volumes weighing nearly 9lbs. In picrel you can see several entries just about nails, this set is fuggin' awesome and has tons of price and production data for PMs and commodities and almost everything else you can think of. Probably $50+ on eBay but well worth it if you're into this sort of stuff.

> How do we actually determine the prices of things when a monetary regression takes place?
Market ‘should’ determine that quickly based on scarcity. Early trades will be favor one party over the over at the beginning set by exchanges that occur once the value becomes semi-determined at a point in the future.
When not fixed and to a lesser extent even when fixed the the real purchasing power of silver money fluctuates. I think its a hurdle. Alternatives to silver money ought to be eschewed, however, the government has the ability to distrubute “new” money and controls the scarcity of it (be it digital). The other hurdle that brings to the mind is that people won’t have silver and therefore it can be used as money, if stackers do not spend. Even in the time period where they could be trading at a loss. It’s supposed to alp natural work itself out but in the event of a currency collapse with a new currency being introduced a long side it, there are still issues with getting it accepted as a whole. You want states that decide they like silver and to collect taxes in silver, then pay that out to a number of people which will get the money flowing. I think that last bit is the most important to solving the issues you mentioned.

Business update on the PMG rounds/bullions/bars. I found an old box of trading card im going to add to the asset table; not reinvesting in cardboard, just found that some of this cardboard with art on it is worth more than the printed picture and material made. turning 0's into 1's is how business gets done. I am not done but i believe the current rate at a median .30cents a piece of cardboard. I may have 400-500 bucks to reinvest into silver. I have established a local business connection with a wholesome coinshop owner. Been in business for over 5 under 10. I am still waiting on the paperwork to come back from the Dept. of revenue/lawenforement for the approved paperwork to open the website/pop up shop. I have applied and pending approval from 2 online wholesale dealers. I was honest which isn't good but Hopefully will be allowed an opportunity to buy at .10cents above spot for 50oz of premium silver bullions. We are so close to being operational; I am so impatient with business. I just want to start up shop. Here is my stack. Will buy more private bullions/rounds when I make over 4 figures in revenue.

My dad has some of the huge ones but i haven't found any yet. I've always been impressed with Panama's first issue in 1904, the biggest 25g silver coin is just a 50 centesimo, so a full Balboa would have been 50 grams of .900 and from inception was pegged to the USD, so you could have swapped 12.5g half dollars for 25g half balboas and doubled your silver which is pretty cool.

This troll made huge massive wall of text troll posts that were deep in detail, range of topic and context, and steep with fud or other divisiveness.
Iqdelet was an aggressive and prolific troll poster that created quite a stir and polluted / diluted /pmg/ for a good while.
It was not your average low level low energy low intelligence troll.
It was something else.
Some of /pmg/ has become hyper sensitive things that have any resemblance of iqdelet.

I've been here since mid 2019 approximately. Iqdelet was "the worst" troll I've witnessed on here during that time. (That's just my perception, or opinion.)
It just got super irritating and tiresome, beyond my tolerance levels. I'm not especially intellectual or articulate enough to properly describe the iqdelet phenomenon.
But there were a few attributes that stood out to me about iqdelet posts (again, just
my personal perceptions) -
> Produced by an "intelligent' individual ?
> Seemingly Informed or well read, at least, on certain things
>Wordy
>Voluminous writer
> Quick
>Witty
> Caustic
>Nothing but argumentative
>Main prerogative or purpose seemed to be, just to attack, destroy, dismantle and demoralize
> No elements of "playful humor" or friendly banter involved, ever.
> Never recanted on anything
> Never retreated
> Gave no quarter
>Always arrogant and rude, condescending
> Took no allies or accolytes
> Followed through with every discussion or argument with endless, tireless, extensive posts beyond the level of any other trolling I've ever seen here

I don't know what to say or what to think about it. The person is maybe massively autistic and was high on meth or cocaine maybe?
Or was paid opposition?
Or just a highly motivated fudder?
Or maybe just some wealthy successful but successeful stock broker, day trader, or crypto nerd with time on his hands and an axe to grind, just visiting to taunt us and deliver his hate and disgust for our kind?

I don't dwell on it. I'd mostly forgotten about it except when the name pops up now and then.

>The other hurdle that brings to the mind is that people won’t have silver and therefore it can be used as money, if stackers do not spend.
I think that is where it all has to start. Stackers spending their stacks into the new economy, buying business and other productive assets to get money into the hands of people who can then in turn spend it into other hands. I am hoping the cognitive dissonance about money will be handles naturally in the run up; people will see and hear of moonshots in gold/silver prices in nominal fiat terms during the crack up so by the time the unit system is defunct there should already be the meme in the public consciousness of the purchasing power of pms.

I agree the market will find true price discovery on its own I just can't articulate the mechanisms and haven't found any good explanations at the level of detail I'm looking for.

Your presupposition is that the fiat promissory notes are money, they are in fact credit. Only pms are money, therefore by their intrisinc moneyness one can never, and could never, make money by holding money, one can only retain purchasing power by holding money. Meanwhile the debasement of the purchasing power of fiat credit untethered from money is shown empirically.

if you have no choice but to do it digital, of course you have to stay away from Bitcoin because bitcoin ledger is clear, transparent, anybody can see any transactions, addresses and amounts. You would need to use other cryptocurrencies, such as Monero, where only the sender and the receiver know the transaction took place, the ledger is obfuscated so others cannot see who send what to who or what amount

Everyone millionaire boomer thinks they are sitting on 1-4% of their portfolio being precious metals. The banks will abolutely attempt to maintain the price increase the paper metals to keep things afloat.
The central banks believe that through financial tricks, hedging and derivatives they can basically force any sort of outcome they want. The problem is going to be real-world supply. When silver is $400 an ounce, the question is going to be whether you can sell an SLV and then go to the store to snag an ASE.
They want to desperately hold that aspect of it together because that is how they hope to keep everyone capitalized. PMs will increase in portfolios to offset the losses and hopefully afloat. But will it work?
Maybe in the beginning.

Your dollar is a digital currency already. You cannot save a failing money substitute with a new money substitute, the core of the issue is a collapsing price structure. Monetary regression demands a return to an earlier price structure, in an earlier "money". Fiat replacements have been tried many times it never works, it makes not a fuck of difference whether its pesos with 3 zeros lopped off or neo-CBDC coins.

>he trusts them to honor the true value of gold during the collapse of the dollar
You aren't even trying here. A government IS its inflationary scheme. As that scheme moves through its end of life so does the state itself, unless it institutes a sound money system, which no state will. No, the state will cease to exist at the moment it can no longer maintain the inflationary practices it needs to pay for its own existence. It will honor nothing except the natural laws of thermodynamics, returning to its highest state of entropy.

CME is a paper trading scheme that is only possible because pms are not used as money. They are not the suppression mechanism for their moneyness, merely a control scheme for their purchasing power in nominal fiat terms. As a credit system destabilizes these metals enter into backwardation, the time preference for the paper certificates is nullified and this in and of itself spells the end of the paper trading scheme.

The gold standard is not an economic system, it is a credit schema. Pic rel >>57293274 illustrates the stability of commodity pricing in gold terms comparatively to the volatility and inflationary pricing of commodities in fiat credit terms. The image alone nullifies your argument.

What shall we do next? Maybe that I can't eat gold and silver, or maybe asteroid mining? If you like I can write your pilpul for you and just argue with myself your shit is so room temperature IQ.

The all powerful elite demoralization fud.

The truth is that the US government is stacked to the rafters with incompetent, lazy, diversity hires and other losers. I went through TSA in Dallas/Fort Worth last week. I swear it was like the security screening was being run by children who had never done it before. The level of raw stupidity was almost unbelievable. And THAT is who your demoralizers expect you to believe will force a new digital currency on you.

The historical fact is that the US government fails at every major project it undertakes. They can't so much as organize a one-car parade. The only things it has ever done well are killing people and destroying infrastructure and even that they do so inefficiently that they can only afford it when funded by the magic money scam that is coming to an end.

The dollar is going to crash and the US government will NOT be deciding what replaces it. They had that privilege only through an accident of history. Those circumstances no longer exist.

Stack on friends. That's what the insiders are doing.

gold's gold, dude. 1/10 oz krugs go for 30$ over spot for 200$ worth of metals. This system, be it with 500$ or 5000$ a month to spend, keeps your ratios 1:1. Saving to buy a 1 oz coin unless you're able to save 2000$ a month is gay.

Happy to help, man. I see many on here and elsewhere get caught up in total terror over premiums. Ultimately, you have to look at how you WANT to stack; this is something you should enjoy.

This might mean you gain pleasure from autistically saving 250$ a month until you can buy a full gold ounce all at once. Or this could mean you want a 230$ monthly 1/10th ounce buy to guarantee some kind of exposure you otherwise would not have the patience for.

The extremists on here tend to take the fun out of things when they try to adhere to nonexistent rules about stacking metals. You could be spending 500$ a month on whores, chinese buffets, and cigarettes. Any dollar that you've converted into these hard assets is a dollar well spent.

It's something I've struggled with lately especially as I've quit cigarettes; you can't constrict your routine and life to such a point that you can't have fun. I think a monthly order of the same lowest premium generic bullion is soulless; your safe just looks like a cartoon villian's. You need spark. Shape your pile to reflect who you are. I love krugs. My goal is to fill a 1/10 oz tube with krugs. After that I'm buying all the Japanese prefecture coins at like double spot because FUCK IT. I LOVE PMs.

Yeah those coins are renowned for their sculpture-like high relief, it does have some environmental erosion/damage but is still a nice coin, I've always preferred the side with the rose anyway and the reverse on yours looks relatively sharp. There might be horn silver deposits on the obverse, the raised area to the left of Helios' mouth for example might be something that could be removed (carefully) which would increase value, but it's hard to say without it in hand.

That one from Aspendos with the countermarks was only about $78, as you know I luv me some ancient sling bullets so 100% of my interest was in the reverse side with that superior rendering of the slinger and the triskelion symbol matching my rare bullet, and the awesome countermarks considerately placed without harming the slinger which make it much more interesting. The side with the wrestlers was probably struck with a worn die and then mushed further by the countermarks so it looks like shit lol. I have another one from Selge that was $100, and while the wrestlers are in much better shape the aesthetics of that stater are crude and amateur in comparison. I think you'll be able to get a good one for under $150 if you're patient but $150-250 is more typical.

It's not uncommon for obscure provincials to be unlisted or minimally documented so that wouldn't bother me. Super rare provincials usually don't sell for more than several hundred unless extra special or struck under a short-lived emperor, but if you're a fan of rarity and having pieces only a few people on earth might own then they're a good realm to dive into. Thanks for the answer.
About both tetradrachm i agree they aren't sexy looking, but you know.. i was in my "big coin" phase. And they were the only tetras i could snag below 200€ on ebay so i went for it. Ended up winning the auctions for 69€ each.
But i don't enjoy much looking at them, so my big coin phase is already over kek, now i'm gonna focus on nice looking ones rather. Ones i'm proud to own and happy to look at.

Also since i don't feel confident about my ability to identify fakes, i guess part of me is thinking "more wear/metallic decay = more chances of ending up with real stuff".

> I think it's genuine but it doesn't appear on wildwinds.com so will require more attention and research than I can devote to it at the moment.

Dw about me fren, i don't live in fear of glowies, i might be on all their faggy lists and i couldn't care less. All i care about is trying to be a decent man who do not harm others, honest and not afraid of speaking the truth.
They can't do anything to me, even if they kill my body.

You don’t get it, anon. When things fall apart it’s those with metals who will have the final moon mission.

Do you specifically collect coins with that tarnish pattern, or are they tarnishing in your collection and then you polish the high parts?

I like the look so I let my coins tarnish black and then rub the surface a bit.
