I convinced my one sceptical friend to buy BTC when it was 21k/22k. He doubled his investment and was completely unaware because he didn’t follow the market until I told him to check it. Means while I’m down a few thousand kek

Never tell anyone about crypto, 99% of the time nothing good will come out of it. Suddenly it's your fault if he loses money, it's your fault if his money stays the same and even if he makes money it will be your fault for not telling him when is the actual top etc. Not to even mention the entire security aspect where he could easily get drained with the most blatant scam contract etc

Just don't do it, pretend like you know jackshit about crypto

I met up with some dudes in my crypto server for a week in Tokyo. Some of them stayed for a month or more because they don't have families. I've also talked to them almost every day for like 2 years all bear market so I would consider them friends, yeah.

i never talk to my friends about crypto because most of my friends are childhood friends from NYC and they're poor, ghetto, and dumb. they love to tease and that's generally what blue collar guys do, so when I make it im posting a picture of my bank account to socials and never speaking to anyone again.

the more people i tell about crypto, about how it's just a ponzi scheme now, full of scammers and charlatans, the more friends i make.
i tell them how i was there 10+ years ago and even how i made money, letting go of bitcoin when it became a fad in december 2017, and all those dishonest people filtered in.
the people i talk to about it tend to have an innate distrust of it. they have either lost a bit themselves or know someone else who lost a fair amount, some even a lot, and how those people were disillusioned thereafter.
so when i tell them in excruciating detail WHY those things happened, and understanding dawns, i seem to become a beacon of trust.
