They are. Gold price went down the first week of it's ETF After two weeks it moonshotted and never came back down.

This is just people selling the 25 Billion of GBTC private Fund to buy into the ETFS with lower administration cost. GBTC was sold and the ETFS have T+1 days to settle.

So is it better to own the coin or the ETF? That's why it isn't like gold.

>> No.57272341

It unironically is incredibly bullish for BTC and you idiots are showing how new you are by giving a fuck about a ~5% pump/dump in the first 48 hours. Think about the company that you're keeping right now with those piling on to fud - jeets, nocoiners, boomers, etc. You're like little rabid third world animals frothing at the mouth with glee. I'm not going to tell you to buy and hold because you don't deserve to make it. Sell it all, wait for 15k, buy back in.

The iShares prospectus specifies that the settlement deadline is on the calendar day immediately following the day the Trade Credit was extended, or the next business day if it’s not a business day. This suggests a T+1 settlement cycle (Trade Date plus one business day) for the ETF transactions, quicker than the standard T+2 settlement cycle for many securities.
