Bitcoin is an asset that is scarce. There are short-term fluctuations, but long-term it is limited and will go up because you cannot ramp up production as you can for gold, housing, etc.

Also, as more companies start putting this on their balance sheets (especially starting in 2025 with new accounting rules) decisions to allocate funds to Bitcoin will move slower because companies decide on such things on a more like quarterly or annual basis than on a whim.
