Capitalism is an economic system. A tool. The society wields it. Technically, if humans weren't slaves to their psychology, communism could work with the right group of people (it never will though). It isn't capitalism that's failing; it's our culture and values which have failed. We (tens of millions) allow for it. It is "normalized."
