The value of Money (store of value) is product of demand for store of value (SoV), having functional use is a DETRIMENT to Money, the more functional use the worse, as with functional use comes functional demand and therefore some of the price is not derived from SoV demand but functional demand. Why would I, a buyer of SoV, want to pay a functional premium? Why would I want the risk that functional demand will fall and decrease it's real terms price independent of SoV demand? Something will be used for SoV, BTC is better than anything we've had before, therefore BTC will continue to cannibalize the SoV market
