My father in law has been buying and selling fountain pens for years and has just now told me about it. On average he makes about 10k a week selling high grade fountain pens he finds at garage sales and secondhand stores because nobody knows their true value. He says he gets buyers moments after he puts them up for sale, why has nobody talked about the fountain pen market on here?

Who the fuck writes anything by hand these days? Every document I’ve ever signed in the last 5-7 years has been digitally signed. I type anything worth writing into words.

Affirm went nearly 300% last year. I’m waiting for klarna and others to go public.

The youth will own nothing and i intend to make money off it

for intellectuals it seems good to defer your payment as long as possible? unless interest rates raise the cost of that pen from 4.9k instant purchase to like 5.4k+ over several months, you want to basically defer the payment as long as possible in hopes that the dollar becomes worthless in that time frame

You're saying your father-in-law makes at least $520 grand per year selling second-hand pens?

These buy now pay later services are scams that survived off the money printer. They're going to get fucked because they don't actually make any money.

Yeah im thinking tangible, so its better than the INTANGIBLE bitcoin. Can't hold something that doesn't exist. Can't write with a crypto either.

There r crypto bros who unironically believe crypto is energy backed. Its the exact opposite, it is wealth destruction, similar to a photograph of an oil barrel burning being sold
No promise for actual power, it consumes it!
Henry Ford is rolling in his grave at them, but here is something more realistic picnrelated, that Ford wanted. A currency issued by the Muscle Shoals Dam, to bypass the federal reserve. I guess these gigachad fountain pens will do just fine as, "knife money"
>knife money
Look that up, im sleepy. God bless you
