ETF means you dont actually buy Bitcoin but instead you buy Monopoly money tokens with the exchanges that are SEC regulated and only characteristically resemble Bitcoin. You are not investing in Bitcoin with an ETF, you are investing in an exchange like you would a bank. You cannot show up and demand custody of your investment, they are the owners of your Bitcoin and you have to go through the Big Cheese to get ownership of the coins on-chain.
