Sorry not sorry but yall chudittors are living in the past.

Agreeable. The notion is that silver is undervalued, it is outside of the risk system, it is wealth in hand [tangible], and easily tradeable. I own gold, but it is easier to trade silver for smaller purchases. i bought a car last year with 12 oz of gold, 10 oz of silver, and 1000 cash in hand.

Have you read the book called the great taking? Its been posted here recent and there are some youtube vids on it. Basically what the author thinks is that if you have a mortgage you are fucked. When the banks go bust there will be no record that you were paying the mortgage and all will be lost. If you own the house outright and have the deed you should be fine just be locked and loaded.

>> No.57240918

Yeah the problem with “The great taking” is that you cant just remove people all at once from their homes. The police them selves have mortgages. The making everyone homeless because of a piece of paper is stupid. Taking peoples stocks makes sense, you just say there were economic issues, sorry. Banker jews can go into their tunnels amd wait until it blows over, which it will and has many times in U.S. history, the mortgage thing? nah

>Have you read the book called the great taking?
Yes, I have skimmed the the great taking pdf and watched the doc a couple times. I think you and the author are right about people with mortgages being screwed but I suppose it depends on lots of variables. Having a home paid off with the deed for proof would be ideal but even then I'm sure the cabal has something planned for these people.

And then of course there is the wild card - cataclysm.
Supposedly there is a solar flare (and then a pole shift maybe) coming which is supposed to kill the power grid and possibly fry electronics so theres that.

I have to agree, it does seem far fetched but plausible at the same time which makes it unpleasant to think about. Wouldn't surprise me if this was just one part of some big scheme. Yes American cops probably wouldn't enforce it but what about the millions crossing the border every month? Hell, some cops would enforce it if they are excluded and get to keep their pension dog leash.
If anything, the great taking just shows how fragile property rights are, which is why many of us are here because PMs in hand have no counter party risk.

IQDELET lives on a blimp and wishes he could stack, but hes a poorfag; lower than a NEET, hes only 3 steps and a fall away from living on the streets. His rent is made when he gets paid for shilling crypto curren-see, his belly is fat from basedlatte crap and his wallet is thin from helium. The gas takes up most of his rent or he wont, be floating in the sky at the parkway. Ifnhis blimp touches down, on his 5"x5" ground, then Vile Shlomo will charge him. The cost to touch down is why he a clown, hisndebt paid back with shit posts. One day he thinks, he'll be boss of his ranks, with a plot of his own, ten by ten, and no neighbors to borrow his tanks. Of helium he buys at inflated cost-and condoms he eats: wet ones not dry, he shills with no sleep, just 5 hours a night. He lost all his gains in the November rains when he bought the intangible at the highest price he thought'd be manageable. We ignore his bleats as he blames us'or's misfortunes hes clearly not well, he works-for israel.

1/10oz are fine, but the premiums right now are pretty high, usually 15-30% over spot. There are better options for your hard earned dollars.

If you buy old European gold, you can save a few percent on premium. British Sovereigns, 20 Francs (Swiss or French), Italian Lira, Netherlands 10 Guilder, Austrian Ducats, German Marks, all of them were mass produced and can be had for less than any modern fractional gold. Your local coin dealer will carry them. If you don't know what to get, just ask him for his lowest premium. you should be able to get most of these for under 5% premium. If you want something larger, there are many larger tokens in the 1/4-1/2 oz range that should be cheap as well. American Commemorative gold, mostly produced in the 1980s, is also typically very low premium.

when the price rises, to let us say 3k/oz, which will eventually happen, none of the premiums you are paying now will translate into a substantially higher sale price, because everyone will be selling, and conversely very few people will be buying from the dealers, as they will assume that the price will soon fall. why sell your 2300-2400/oz fractionals for 3k when you could sell your 2100/oz discount bin gold for the same price? the sale price will be roughly the same for all of it.

I'm assuming the gov would have to declare all usuary-debt based compound interest gained 'money' as worthless? And end fractional reserve banking. And also put a permanent hard limit on usuary and loan interest rates?
And then allow people to exchange paper USD for silver equivalent at any time

You could take a new dollar and tie it to a fixed exchange ratio to gold/silver.
MAYBE you could at a fixed exchange rate to the FRN and maintain the same debt obligations. Any new debt taken out would be denominated in the new dollar issued by the same Federal Reserve. Foreign debt obligations cancelled.
>Everyone flocks to underlying assets
Tax people in gold and silver to collect for your reserves.Silver/gold being higher valued in the system exchanges and quickly pays off the debt.
The debt that the Gov owes the federal reserve could still be maintained but only in an exchange for to collect gold and silver. What would function of the FR be then?
A collector of PMs based on debt owed. It acts in tandem with the treasury to both pay off debt, build a reserve and issue promissory notes based off silver and gold mining ventures.
Quick scrabble to nationalize all mining ventures, to incorporate new territories with rich mineral reserves, you pay in based on a future return. These are the new bonds.

there's a good likelihood that that still wouldn't be the case, exchanging for the set rate would probably only happen on the level of entities like foreign central banks, and wouldn't need to happen often because why exchange for something less liquid assuming the currency is reliably backed.
that said it'd still have the same effects as far as limiting inflation and would keep retail exchange rates pretty static, but you'd still likely be paying a premium over them.

One dude with a gold pan could make enough gold to buy a mansion in a couple weeks. So all the guys building mansions will stop and go pan gold instead. Bob is the guy that lives on a mine and mines are somewhat rare, not extremely expensive if i remember, but you'd need 2 save up quite a bit if you're waging. I took the machining route long ago. Now i stack large chunks of aluminum as well as copper, silver and gold. Oh and manganese bronze rods and aluminum bronze ones. I have zero titanium left, usually i get it in chunks from the customer. Turning silver on a lathe feels like medium carbon steel, the swarf is really curly, i had trouble getting a good finish grinding the small sample. Donno what happened to those little chunks, paper weights in a tool drawer somewhere on the shop floor.
I machined a bar of gold for someone once, they let me keep the swarf, milled a 1/32" bit right through it. Felt like soft aluminum, really gummy and i had to clean off my bare hss cutter, had i used carbide and coolant it may have been a different feel.
All anons should cut metal. My father is Make America Lathe Again anon. He is a man of the metal. Knows it all.
All metals are precious, but some are more precious than others.

To last threads safeanon, I don’t recommend a gun safe. I dunno how much space you need but the minimum id recommend is a burglary safe like the Hollon oyster series, you could get 1.23 cubic feet for a bit more than 1000 bucks.

But if you spent 2200 you could get a TL-15 that’s about the same interior dimensions, it would weigh more than 400 lbs and would be really hard to get into. Honestly depends how much silver you plan to stack, gold doesn’t take up much space.

Update on the firm. I used some inspiration from this thread to formulate the business name. I have the website set up. All IRS/Dept. Revenue/Dept. of Law Enforcement/County/City/municipality forms have been filed and approved! Found a couple of pop up locations to do business in for very cheap. I have boughten marketing material, established a website along with a POS system to be integrated with. I have established the proper paperwork for those who want to sell, as well as receipt forms for those who want to buy. I have set up social media business accounts under the firms name. Everything has been integrated with each other. I have the bank account open with funds deposited. I have established the industry demographic, specifically the local demographic. I have established the proper sociological data for the market/consumer demographic. I have set up a business model canvas to keep organized. I have an entire excel spread sheet made for arbitrage, live spot price tracking to be integrated with the arbitrage sheet. I have set up a T table accounting sheet, I have set up an backlog/CSV for my inventory control. I have estbalished a wholesaler along with a few interested persons that want to do preorders. All I need now, is to wait for the spot of silver to continue to fall this first quarter as hypothesized; before making my first BULK purchase; turning the key, and excited/watching to see how this firm purrs (operates).
>We decided to not pursue the smelting/refining at this time. Though we filed the papers to operate those 'recycling' services throughout the year, when human resources is acquired to operate those labor/skill intensive departments.
I would like to do a meet up with mint anon and do some bulk purchases of unrotated stock so that I may have some diversity with my local market.

A volcano exploded in 1815 which ejected so much ash that 1816 was "the year without a summer" which lead to pretty widespread famine conditions. Definitely know about the Hebrew's Holodomor, not much different than the Irish Potato Famine where the English plundered all the other agricultural products like barley that didn't get wiped by the potato blight and intentionally starved Ireland.

The value density of other exotic commodities makes my loins stir. Anyone who naysays commodity prices hasn't paid attention to Palladium and Rhodium. Pairing with that knowledge the fact that Silver and Gold are monetary metals and therefore at the whims of international trade agreements and political machinations explains the dormancy. Layer ontop of that the exponential nature of interest, the end of the Petro-dollar as well as agreements between the BRICS we can see the Bretton Woods system started in 1945 is starting to come undone and trade will be renegotiated with potentially drastic swings in purchasing power as globe strains under the unsustainable levels of debt. I think we can trust on the international level that trade can continue on some new terms to minimize the damage. But the damage will be done to the currencies and debt instruments as the system needs a jubilee.

Spoken like a one-percenter (or better).
I agree, though the drop in Pd is concerning.
The ballooning of Rh was silly, and I doubt will ever happen again.
Pt has been a loser for me, and I'm leery of all three of the "-ums" because of the drop in use of catalytic converters as we transition to EVs. I had hopes for them in H fuel cells, but now I hear silver has been successfully tested as the catalyst.
Silver has been abysmal (granted, I started when it was $37/ozt).
Aside from Rh (bought at $1.1k) gold has been my big winner.
Copper's been good too, but you need so much of it to make any real headway.

As far as Pt and Pd are concerned, Silver price could easily blow out EVs as they are ALREADY heavily subsidized by a bankrupt government. A silver crunch will make all kinds of stupid products simply disappear from the shelves once the price reflects true supply/demand and accommodates any potential looming monetary needs as people run to safety. Gas vehicles are going nowhere and all of the nonsense green energy projects surrounding solar, EV car, etc is going to get priced out very easily once the entire fucking globe starts abandoning the paper ponzi. We won't have the resources for these projects because everyone is going to be scrambling for chairs. And if the great depression is any indicator, people's trust in banks won't come back for 30-40 years minimum.

I disagree about green failing. I do believe the data regarding AGW, and something will have to be done to correct it. We have been squandering the "externalities" nature provides, and these will become rarer, or at least change, as climate changes. THis will necessitate changes in human priorities and behavior. True, IC engines will be around for a very long time to come, but will diminish enough to affect "-um" metal prices.
