I will say that the United States government will never allow Boeing to fail. It's simply too important to our defense and aerospace industries. Something like 75% of all commercial flights use Boeing jets, there's simply no one else to pivot to. The absolute worst that could happen is dealing with a few lawsuits and cleaning house in the executive suite.
To that end, the "implications" for Boeing only really applies to their management. The company will be fine, people will still buy their planes.

I fully expect all tech to do +40% every year from here on as ridiculous as it sounds. That includes Broadcom. Yeah yeah I know. There is no point in arguing with me on this. I have fully accepted that the market will just keep on chugging forever. There is just too much money and too much gains to be lost otherwise. All the money from the 401ks are passively invested so that also props up the markets. Plus the devaluation of the dollar and lack of a QT. China is dead, EU is alright, demand for US tech keeps increasing. Yeah, US tech is only gonna keep pumping, irregardless what kind of tech it is. Look at the data. Elections have a random impact on the markets. Sometimes it's bigly up, sometimes bigly down, sometimes a bit up, other times a bit down. I dunno, but the current administration will most certainly take credit for "handling the inflation" and that will pump the markets. JPow will also cut like a bitch so there is that.

>they ever really buy back
Buybacks are how the board pay themselves a guaranteed rate for their vests while the company tends to simply dilute. Mathematically, a company buying back above a reasonable mix between book and tangible, imo, is burning cash for advertising. It is possible, but doesn't it seem like they could, dunno, build something and earn everyone even more instead? Certainly not buybacks at greater than private lender rates. Right? You're not suggesting buybacks at <100% p/b

Literally everyone with a brain knew it was a pump and dump. You're not special. Sorry.

>>57223905
Except this retard, I guess..
If you're legitimately still confused why LLAP is dumping, take a step back and think about what that contract payment you're so excited about actually means for the fundamental value of the business. Do you actually know what it's worth, or were you being sold a hyped up story? You do understand that their contract is an agreement to sell goods at a price, right? And that their contract requires them to source materials and construct the goods to be provided?
I'm guessing you thought that a $2.4 bil sales contract means the company is worth $2.4 billion. You think it means $2.4 billion in profit, delivered immediately, today, without producing anything. This is not a SAAS tech company where every added customer goes straight to the bottom line. They have to provide the service. They have to produce the goods. And at a corporate level, they have to do it in a way such that executive pay and stock comp doesn't eat into the entire profit. That requires scale.

The reality is that you're buying a SPAC scam that was offloaded at an absurd valuation at the top of a massive liquidity bubble, and is slowly rerating towards it's real value as a low (no) margin manufacturer with limited scale and intense competition in a structurally challenged sector, competing with play projects funded by multi-billionaire investors for fun with complete disregard to all the capital being incinerated. There's a reason the company wants to put itself up for sale.
When you actually think about it, the bull thesis was basically:
>this isn't a total fraud, but the stock has crashed, therefore it must be worth a bunch.
What a joke. I do appreciate that people like you continue to participate in the market though. I must thank you for the easy gains you have and will continue to provide to me.

I opened a pretty large LLAP short last week and was feeling the pain but not because of the borrow rate, just the convex price action. My broker had a 4.5%ish borrow rate and there were a ton of shares to borrow available. Shorting LLAP might have presented the best opportunity for making money not because the company is eating shit today, but because the borrow was. So. Fucking. Easy.

Easiest locate in my life on a shitco pump and dump SPAC.

Warrant overhang dilution. Think of 'overhang' as the shadow cast over a company’s stock due to stock-based compensation like warrants and options. It's a bit like when we assess the potential future supply of shares that could hit the market. This overhang is a percentage that shows how much the company’s current shares could be diluted if all these warrants and options are exercised.

To break it down: let’s say a company has given out a bunch of stock options and still has some it plans to give out in the future. We calculate overhang by adding up all these granted options and the ones they’re still holding back. Then, we divide this total by the number of shares currently out there in the market. In formula terms, it’s (Stock Options already out there + Reserved Options) / Total Shares Outstanding.

Now, why is this a concern for investors of dogshit pump and dumps like LLAP? If that overhang percentage is high, it means there's a significant chance of stock dilution. Dilution is like watering down a drink – each existing share becomes a bit less valuable because there are more shares out there.
