How to exchange monero for cash with no KYC in current year?

Going from crypto to FIAT without KYC is impossible. You can move from Monero to BTC and you will regain a great deal of privacy. But the BTC will still need to be sold.

You can sell BTC realistically in the real world. You can sell the BTC on localbitcoins. Or you can do the Indian method. You buy gift cards in XMR to the place you want shit from. Then you use those gift cards to purchase material objects. Then you sell those material objects for FIAT. There are lots of options.

What is the point of XMR if you can't somehow securely funnel it into fiat to actually buy things (other than shit on Amazon, which I agree, gift cards are fine for). Shit, in my country even if I were to buy a bunch of GPU's or something off Amazon with gift cards, I couldn't easily resell them without getting raped by banks and taxman, since even transactions in the order of ~1000$ can trigger an account freeze until you produce receipts.
That's of course not really the fault of XMR (rather the fact that almost every bank in the world has gone all in on KYC/AML), but at the same time if you're unironically preaching "adoption", there has to be some means to use the currency beyond buying random small shit with gift cards.

Monero needs some stability, implement full membership proofs, seraphis, jamtis, whatever. Once that's done no hard forks for a good while, and just focus on UX, liquidity, optimized & idiot-proof desktop and mobile wallets, maybe L2 or fedimints if the need ever arises. Monero as a bleeding-edge cryptography playground is fun, but eventually good money needs to become boring.

I think all the biggest issues for Monero as money are UX, and not the tech stack. The default GUI wallet being kludgey, CLI and feather wallet being inaccessible to normies, very few exchanges carrying Monero and the ones that do having shit liquidity, regulatory pressure, being thought of as a drug & CP coin. More effort should go to pro-monero lobbying, education.

Buying monero with crypto is the cheapest option because there's a true escrow on both sides, only downside is that the crypto that the seller is receiving may be tainted. Buying with third party payment gateways like paypal or cashapp carry a high premium because the buyer may be able to dispute the transfer after receiving the monero.

If you plan on DCAing long-term, you can sometimes find sellers that will slowly bring down the premium over time as you build a reputation with them. You'll never be able to buy monero at spot price, but you can bring that +50% premium down to like a +5% or +10% premium.

The block rewards shrink so fast that after enough halvings BTC would eventually require a $2.95 trillion price per BTC and a $62 quintillion market cap to sustain the current cost of $7.15 billion/year.

Even if these numbers were somehow realistic, can you imagine securing a $62 quintillion market cap on only $7.15 billion/year of hashrate? LOL

So basically BTC mining will eventually become so unprofitable the hashrate (network security) will shrivel up UNLESS it is subsidized by BTC transaction fees.
