kadena is a half assed asset that is half heartedly managed by half witted devs who haven’t put even half a moment about how half rate their project would appear to the surely less than a half of their token holders that half expect (and rightly so) to have half competent release notes incorporated into even the most half rate of half professionally developed software upgrade releases (be that specific to the blockchain ecosystem or within the wider scheme of computational ICT in general).

as a professional software tester, i have encountered some absolutely half finished project release packages, but well and truly more than a half of even the most half brained release managers i have previously encountered during enterprise software upgrade rollouts would have ever not thought that it might not be half a bad idea to clearly reference critical changes in the code that necessitate that the end user needs to modify their interactions whilst interfacing with the system or have a very real chance of having their assets (some or all) compromised by failing to incorporate apparently cosmetic changes that have not been alluded to by either a specific reference accompanying the versioned release of an officially sanctioned software interface app (e.g. Chainweaver). wtf??

maybe this oversight in regard to not bothering with release notes was designed to only keep the most diligent and obedient investors in the loop, but i wasn’t able to identify even one half serious obvious conversational reference that might have (even in some subtextual sense) seemed to have been endeavoring to educate the investors about the inherent risk of some under-documented “coding boobytrap” that had been specified for the release.

typically, on this rare occasion that a compassionate and informed individual can be easily identified inside an official community portal , the first and most egregious part of this situation is that telegram groups and discord channels are never staffed by the developers that have inflicted their incompetence upon you. that, i believe, describes a certain level of premeditation to have a “Ponticus Pilate” mechanism in place to.. well.. .

speaking with the “devil may care” tech team at Binance made it absolutely clear that kadena had an equally as lacklustre approach to conveying the nature of the unnecessary coding complexity that i am half convinced was maliciously incorporated into the particular release that underpins my story here.

for the record, i had a great familiarity with the software and had been able to navigate the use of the token and its wallet interface (vainly hodled the asset from 2019-2023), despite the fact that it would definitely have to be one of the least intuitive and most confronting UX that you could possibly inflict on a “non technical investor”.

i believe in the idea that humanity will be freed by decentralized asset management based on blockchain technology. if it came down to kadena leading the charge to a better future- we wouldn’t stand one half of one hope in hell.

this isn’t where you want to have to go to educate yourself as to the critical release particulars for interacting effectively with any software product: it’s annoying and inconvenient enough if the problem is about an XBOX game that keeps glitching on load or at a waypoint.. but when the undocumented problem can disassociate you from being able to recover or ever access digital assets that may represent a significant portion of your ongoing wealth, it is of cold comfort to find an intelligent and understanding moderator who can be sidetracked away from the “wen, wen, wen” crowd and accept that the matter probably should have been impeccably clear in the README.md that was part of the software download package.
