It's definitely been getting better. It's also an aggregator, so it can take longer than Uniswap while finding the best deals. But for what it does it's not slow. A small extra wait for the swap is worth the extra money you get, along with not worrying about things like paying gas for failed transactions.

Its the best aggregator out there for Eth network, 1inch is good too but its more expensive, been using it for few years now and I can't say I had a problem (few times transaction wouldn't go through on 0.1 slippage but thats about it).
