holy shit, first FairX, now another promising project. I can't fucking wait for decentralized exchanges.

What is Peerex?
Peerex consists of three major elements - assets exchange (like Poloniex or Bittrex), local exchange (like Localbitcoins) and payment solution (like Bitpay) - each of which is powered by Stellar blockchain.

Open-source
All the code is MIT-licenced and avaialable at GitHub.

Decentralized
Peerex is not regulated by any government and even if the website is eventually taken down or hacked, no user is harmed, no funds are gone, and the system will be able to continue operating with no consequences.

Private
We never collect any information about you, be it an IP address or analytics cookie. Your funds are never accessed by us, because all transactions are signed client-side (by you).

it's just a choice of opens source license, anyone can select it, doesn't mean MIT is involved in any way

lots of typos on the website. clearly there is no native english speaker involved in this project

I am not confident in this until I see actual activity on their github. Everything right now is just an announcement with frankly ridiculous roadmap targets if all they have is a fucking announcement on their github
