Idk why I'm asking because I seriously can't even remember the last time a decent thread or post was actually made on biz, but where's everyone's head with LINK? Anyone who's held for a while willing to share your thoughts? I'm seriously battling to justify it anymore, but I'm waiting for some kind of volatility either direction. I'm not sure what % I'll sell but it'll definitely be 20% at minimum.

I’m currently coping since I was very close to converting to AVAX and then INJ when they were 1:1 to LINK. Could’ve already made it before even bull run started. Only hope right now is we get CCIP in january and catch on to the rest

Fair enough. What's fucking new. It's been years of cope. I was going to sell into SOL and INJ, among a few others that have done just okay. So close yet so far. I think obviously there is just way too much bagholder fat on LINK so no point waiting anymore (imo). What's your plan from here then?

I should say - the one silver lining cope is that LINK seems to move first. I won't be missing another marketwide leg up if we get such an opp again from a preceding move with LINK. That's the bull case. If volatility is downwards, it all sort of resets and hopefully just the kick I need to sell. It's funny, I'm so void of hope with LINK I'm actually excited to sell it. Seeing INJ and SOL move like they did makes me think if I do this right I can actually make it in a matter of months instead of needing a full-blown bullrun just to fucking ride it up like everything else. I've let go of rage. I just want fucking freedom from waging. Don't need much. 6x and I'm there after tax.

>> No.57094748

>>57094698
I finally gave up on Link when SOL was $80. I went 50/50 Sol/Avax. I'm 18% higher than I would be if I'd just held Link. I don't plan to hold Sol much longer though. It's much higher risk than something like Link.

>> No.57094791

>>57094748
Congrats anon. Any idea on next moves? I've got my eye on a few in the top 50-100.

Swift just confirmed a production run namedropping chainlink:
https://www.swift.com/news-events/news/swift-explores-blockchain-interoperability-remove-friction-tokenised-asset-settlement

Nobody cares. The useless advocates along with the chainlink team dumping millions of tokens to suppress the price killed any possible hype for the upcoming bullrun.

Additionally, in average, the top 20 coins have lost about 50% dominance of market cap vs bitcoin peak to peak. Link had a 2% dominance vs BTC last cycle, so this upcoming one LINK's dominance will be about 1%.Now, assuming Bitcoin goes to $100K next run, it's mkt cap will be $2 trillion, which would put LINK's mkt cap at about 1% of that, which is $20 billion, over 700 million link in circulation in 2025, that'd give us a price of $28.57 per LINK.

I'm old so I'll probably stick to safer bets once I sell Solana. I'll either leave it in BTC for awhile, put it back into Link, or go all in on AVAX for awhile. I am surprised by how little AAVE has moved so far though.

I don't have the same top for LINK, I think it'll finish the run higher than that, but not high enough to justify missing the entirety of the opportunity elsewhere with the size I have in LINK. I do however agree with the gist of your take, that it's becoming harder with a lesser margin for error to "get it right" during a bullrun. I think certain alts, obviously LINK poised to be one at the rate it's going, will massively underperform. We just dipped under MATIC too.

>>57094842
Good luck anon. I'll always hold a little LINK but doubt I'll rotate anything back in once I'm out at least until we get whatever kind of weird blowoff top we're shaping up to get this "cycle". AVAX does look good.

>> No.57094889

>>57094867
>will massively underperform
Poorly worded, but I mean to say they'll underperform in swathes and in a way we haven't seen in prior cycles. Fewer winners overall and a delicate game.

>> No.57094890

I was so married to Link that I watched the entire last bull run from the sidelines. Even up until recently feeling like I had to hold it, because if I missed out I'd be devastated. In reality I bought at 13 cents so I didn't actually miss out on anything.

>> No.57094900

>>57094721
link has performed pretty well since then, your brain seems to be malfunctioning though.

>> No.57094918

Link is definitely missing this bull run, sergeys massive dump on 16 and then 17 a few weeks later cemented it. We might hit 20 bucks but it’s over. They didn’t let it pump in peace when it did a 3x and now everyone has the taste of shit in their mouths over the other coins being allowed 3-10x pumps unhindered. My guess is we see retrace on the alt coins then a surge and link and eth are left behind. I honestly think Litecoin will outperform eth and link, that’s how bad their state is right now

I sold 20% of my stack for AVAX at $32 and INJ at $30
So it’s not that bad for me, for now I have some usdt sitting on sidelines if we do get a 30-40% correction. I’ll go heavy on inj tia and avax. For LINK I just need $50 and I’m out. But looking at current market state, when that happens others would still have outperformed it.

>> No.57094993

>>57094900
It did perform well in early november, Heck I’d say probably the 2nd best recovery after SOL. It’s downhill since then AVAX went from 15 to 50, INJ 14 to 43, even SOL doubled. The breakout to $17.32 did give me some hope but the immediate dump faded all the hope. I still believe LINK can perform good if they release CCIP in january

This is good fud because it starts with good news for the project, then 80% of the rest of the post is shitting on the project. It's an old psychology trick people use in business.

>> No.57095025

>>57094918
This fud doesn't work because AVAX and SOL supplies increased substantially, but it went up in price substantially as well. I like the rate of 7% a year, it's actually one of the best release schedules in crypto. I do wish it was more transparent but I understand that could open up economic attack vectors for the project.

I sold 66% of mine and split it between Axelar and Mina. Very comfy. I think you’ve had more than enough time to see how Link is performing to make a decision too. I recognized obvious patterns with those two tokens that made me feel confident in them pumping that I regularly saw in 2017. Link looks like a dead shitcoin like XRP honestly full of people who think it is way more important than it actually is. Sui and Rose look promising for some more runway.

Well, you're in good company. I have a higher DCA than you by a few multiples. I definitely feel I "missed out", just not because of LINK. I missed out by being stubborn in August 2020 against my better angels. I'd be well into retirement by now, which is all thst matters, if I'd listened and acted. Good luck anon.

>>57094918
Certainly feels that way. It's really does feel like the coin to return to after the bull run, if you're ever going to. I'm not sure I would. I'll likely just keep a sui stack or similar. The rest is just dead capital if I leave it in LINK and I'd have no one to blame but myself.

Pic absolutely rel.

>>57094980
I've mentally shut out even the possibility of $50 again any time soon. We just saw LINK range for 500 days and peter out at $15. It is absolutely fucking paralysed. I agree however a dip would be nice. The big balls play is to have more stables set aside.

>>57098395
Ty. I just looked at the MINA chart. Does look pretty extraordinary for the past few weeks. FET is another one I've got on the list. Small bag now but will look to increase it tenfold with LINK profits rotated. Gl.
