I never said anything about believing people on TV. Anyone speaking so publicly is probably selling you something. But scientific statements are falsifiable by definition. That's a key, invariable property of a theory. Can't be proven wrong? Not science, not a scientist, this person is trying to scam you. Don't trust what a real scientist is saying? Go test it yourself, or find another source who has. In the end, a good theory can be put to practice and made into working technology. There's a few hundred years of face melting advancements on the back of this process. Religion only ever kept us living in squalor for fucking millennia. Prayer never did shit against cholera or pneumonia. You're not building a business on faith unless you're scamming.

Stay away from internet Christianity before you become more knowledgeable and discerning. The best way to understand Christianity is to start attending a traditional church and get involved with the community. Look for an Orthodox, Traditional Catholic (Latin Mass), or hard-line Anglican Church (these are rare). I am Orthodox, I can highly reccomend it, but I don't want to start a denominational shit-flinging fest. The important part is to LIVE the faith with other believers. We are saved together, but damned alone
