Hey fren!
I can't tell you for sure, i just repeat what i've read on a forum so take it with a wheelbarrow of salt, but the dude clearly was familiar with missile jargon so i thought it seemed believable.
Considering the silver-zinc batteries, from what i understand there isn't much silver in them, and realistically, i don't think a missile have to board much battery power, after all it's just used to power the electronics/GPS/ARH/TERCOM guiding & navigation system no? I fail to see how few minutes of flight guidance can consoom much energy, but i'm maybe wrong/missing other usecases (on top of military always overdoing it).

Last time this happened to me I had some fool win a couple of my auctions and refuse to pay. Then another account (also him) steps in and offers to buy the unpaid item for half price or less. Prices are starting to drop, so I can afford something, but due to high credit rates and mandatory mininum own-capital quota (lol, like 20%, that's incredibly low), no one else can apparently, now that the banks don't go

>He's just cranking them out by the hundreds.

By the thousands, that's not the only account doing it. There are numerous current and prior Moroccan eBay sellers who've been selling that utter garbage for at least 2 years now. they are the absolute worst fakes i've ever seen, but somehow the global population of fucktards is large enough to keep gobbling it all up.

>>57007170
>How come obvious scam artists' accounts like this aren't deleted by the moderation is beyond me.

eBay must be complicit, since I started seeing that trash show up in my search results there's never been any real stretch of time those Moroccan sellers have been inactive. It's exceptionally annoying having to scroll past hundreds of their listings when I'm looking for sleeper cheapies. every single last one of their items is so obviously fake that no one with more than a few neurons will ever get scammed so they pose no real danger to actual collectors, it's the much more sophisticated forgery workshops minting stuff with transfer-dies made from genuine coins that spook me.

Study this database of fake ancient coins to see how sophisticated some of them are, I have a decent eye but would get tricked by plenty of the better forgeries. When considering buying coins you don't have plenty of experience with it's always important to refer to the collection of fakes and study everything with great care:

Yeah I've seen lots of super sus RMs posted here. I first learned about fakes when I was 8 and a dealer was showing some chinese counterfeit 1883 Hawaiian silver coins, then next year my grandpa who just came back from vacationing in china gave me some coins he bought there which were all immediately obvious cast and crudely plated fakes. I've been disgusted by chinks ever since, they are an absolute plague.

Chinsects haven't been able to come up with anything novel and original for 1,000 years, they can only copy and steal the work of actual human beings. Besides their current appetite for fetus soup and powdered baby penises those subhumans were still openly cannibalizing each other en masse into the early 1960s, a culture wherein that shit is acceptable probably considers something as relatively benign as utterly ruining the hobby of coin collecting to be the paragon of virtue. I fucking hate them so much bros, I'll never understand why there are so many pathetic SinoSimps who regard China with anything but immediate revulsion.

The few positives don't come close to outweighing the negatives. I like some of their artifacts, I managed to get my hands on 2 ancient bronze crossbow trigger mechanisms that date from somewhere between the Warring States Period to the end of the Han Dynasty around 220 AD. Once upon a time the Chinese were actually pretty ingenious, but that spark of humanity got extinguished many centuries ago.

ebay needs a button that filters search results so we can block sellers or results we don't want to see. Or if they already have one, it needs to be easier for boomers to find and use. But then what we do could be automated and you and I would be out of a hobby. I suppose AI will do that eventually, our little game is going to dry up sometime soon.

Regarding complicity, it's true they don't exactly try very hard to block fakes, presumably because they make money off them. They're responsive to complaints of fakes, but only because complaints cost them money. So as long as a counterfeiter isn't getting too many returns and cases they ignore the problem. Tons of people getting scammed. I worry about where those fakes are going. They're going to start showing up in estate sales and garage sales but without context to determine they're forgeries. At that point they're much harder to detect. It has the power to sour the public on coin and artifact collecting when good fakes flood every corner of the markets. But I suppose that's a problem the grading and guarantee companies have already dealt with somewhat. This is why I expect slabs are the future of coin collecting- there's just so many fakes floating around now. Thanks china.

>>57012614
>This is why I expect slabs are the future of coin collecting- there's just so many fakes floating around now. Thanks china.
as we saw a couple threads back, they also make fake slabs. In fact you can buy empty slab holders from china that look pretty similar to the real thing to the untrained eye.

But they can't fake the grading company registry. They can copy a real number for a real slab, but that's easier to detect and warn people about. If a grading company guarantees a coin and assigns it a unique number, then 150 more coins show up with that same number on the slab, we know there's a problem and we make a note on the website that fakes of that number exist.

The downside of numbering coins for quick ID is that you build a registry of who owns which coins. Something the feds could track if they want to. I doubt the feds are tracking every single coin collector out there, just like I doubt they're tracking every stacker. But if they take an interest in the finances of a single individual, registries would make it a lot easier for them to find out what a person owns. Also a hacker could presumably gather the same data and sell it to burglars to choose targets. Though at that point the coin has been photographed and would be difficult or impossible to re-sell on the open market.

Nevermind kitco, I wouldn't trust a single paid vault service on the planet, a lot of them are going to get raided by desperate governments who drop the "democratic" act when the shit hits the fan.

Thats what i reckon that COP23 meeting the other month was about, they said they want to 3x times the solar/battery power production and they'll use that as their excuse to enact their emergency climate scam and get governments to raid private vaulting services and take everyones metals in order to "save the world"

Its all part of their great wealth transfer and you'll own nothing and we'll tell you to be happy.

for a couple years they were flooding facebook with thousands of ads. China that is.
the accounts were getting deleted within 24 hours but they sold enough in that time to just make new accounts and keep right on selling. I'd guess hundreds of millions of fake coins sold by tens of thousands of chinese accounts. Potentially billions of coins sold just on facebook alone.

it's easier to track on ebay because you can view past sales. They sell extremely well there. I've seen single sellers that sold thousands of fakes in a matter of a couple months, and there's no shortage of people selling fakes there.

and I suspect the real number is much higher, but usually when I tell anon that e.g., his morgan has fake toning and might be counterfeit, they give me all their reasons why it could NEVER be a fake. I've seen some stupid shit, one that comes to mind was an unmistakable cast fake Draped Bust dollar that got 4 or 5 (yous) from anons congratulating him on finding such a great coin, it was both alarming and extremely sad. I don't like being the guy to burst naive numisnoob bubbles so don't call out the suspicious coins most of the time but they're plentiful here. I cringe at the thought of seeing what garbage is in the stack of the anon who called Bob a schizo for mentioning the problem posed by fakes, in fact Bob's statements were extremely understated. All are different, but cold molds, sandcasting, and neglecting to use a vacuum apparatus all can cause that orange peel effect. The Moroccan retard uses some kind of chemical/acid treatment to roughen and "age" the surfaces too but he doesn't know what he's doing, they're really bad lol.

Yeah man same here, not so much nowadays but it's a lifelong learning process that we'll never truly master. I've kept all the fakes I got scammed on as stern reminders to do better and as objects to study so I don't fall for it again. Many of the times I succumbed to fakes was when I was drinking hard every day and too intoxicated to be prowling for"deals", but I've been avoiding the sauce pretty well lately and have learned to stay away from eBay when I do find myself deep in a bottle. Picrel are all fakes, I bought the big spear for $20 knowing it was a repro and I knew the rusty iron one was fake but it was in a collection with some good real stuff, the rest tricked me though but I won't fall for shit like them again, although painful it's a great way to learn.

same, I learned pretty quick not to shop for coins or artifacts when drinking. What usually tips me off is the auction will start with some fast and heavy bidding and then suddenly everyone disappears. Then I start to wonder what they know and I don't. So I start looking a bit closer and realize I've bid on a bad item. Usually I allow the sale to go through because the price isn't very high and it gets the problem item out of circulation. I think the worst I've been taken on a coin was $70 so nothing to loose sleep over, I kept them all. Been scammed on artifacts for upwards of $400 (god-damned camera tricks, immediately obvious fakes in-hand) though so I got my rightful refunds for those. Either one is possible, but my current guess is that it's from a 1920's diner in California that happened to have the same name as my Colorado saloon.

I have a buddy that's an expert on that maker and he advises me that the die used is outside the date range of the business it's attributed to. So either the expert is wrong in dating the die (unlikely), the business lasted longer than records indicate (also unlikely because prohibition), or the coin is fake or comes from a different town.

every time china shut down, US experienced massive supply chain disruptions. Every time US shut down, china lost massive revenue. End of the day it proved the US can decouple from china, but it's going to hurt a lot. And china may not survive it.

russia's a different story, they've been surviving without the west for most of the last 100 years. They're pretty good at it by now.

agree for the most part about US policy, but I think the only thing that could put the US back on track is a common enemy to fight against. Something our politicians know full well to be true, they're constantly looking for enemies to unite the US against. Which just continues the schizo foreign policy and apparent need to rule the world. And makes us new enemies all the time.

80 years of abuse and 80 years of weaving the western web of lies and deceit has become so obvious to everyone, so poisonous and so cumbersome and impossible to maintain. the US govt has isolated us from the rest of the world, except the EU and other vassal slave states.
Foreign sovereign nations have a choice, they can remain a slave to the US and be slowly tortured and raped and choked to death, or they can choose a new partner like RU & CH and have a chance to survive.

it might be ugly and painful for all, but the hegemony of the western empire is crumbling. only a matter of how much everyone allows the US to burn everything down along the way instead of owning up to shit and moving on.

the US is like the retarded bully on the playground that goes around wrecking everything and setting shit on fire for no reason. nobody wants to play with that retard anymore

this is not a new situation. We've been doing it for over 100 years now.

the reason it's held up this long isn't because anyone loves the US, but because russia and china are much worse. That's all.

Of course. Precisely that it's been going on for 100 years and it's reached beyond its maximum tolerability and sustainability.
coupled with the RU & CH becoming a more favorable option
and people actually recognizing it.
Unfortunately, we know a huge percentage of the brainwashed masses in the West still do not even see any of this.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure that Obongo movie is 100% predictive programming psyop mindfuckery to further induce the twisted agenda.

I have a mate who is into it. Ex jeweler really smart guy.
Its hard.
He said the trick is as follows.
>buy in bulk.
>find a good jeweler.
>sell the gems online and offer to have it added to jewelery.
>do deals to supply jewelers.
This way you get sales from them and you give them sales.
>advertise it really expensive online then once a month drop 40% off. Theyll see the $3k ring then $2k for 1 day only. Really its a $200 gem and $200 ring.
Buying and holding doesnt really work you have to buy and keep selling.
Also really need to build wholesale connections and know your gems.

this is American hubris in a nutshell. China has a highly sophisticated economy that can make everything from electric vehicles, to high end watches, to fentanyl, to cellphones and laptops.

100%. And, the US economy is based around stock markets and their government can barely give security to people working in america. America is a country that has to import its educated class and they can't even keep the workers safe from getting murdered in street robberies. That's what makes me think america is a joke and their economy is on its last legs. why invest in a country where skilled workers are getting killed in the parking lot of their office for their cellphones?

there was a guy locally who was selling bags of loose diamonds from scrap jewelry for 50USD per carat. I bought a bunch and had them set in some cuban bracelets that I own and I wish I had bought more.

Typical zoomer reading comprehension. Just because China can make those things doesn't mean Americans are buying them.
Most of what we buy is useless garbage no other country wants

amerimutt, america is not the only country in the world. You are an arrogant, delusional mutt and the world is going way past the era of American domination. Your country is addicted to fentanyl and is becoming less relevant as a consumer of anything other than drugs and pharmaceuticals.
