I think it's funny that most of you would have made more money if you'd never touched crypto and spent your time reading basic finance books, working hard at your job, and just being a normie. You'd likely have a higher networth, more disposable income, and stable well paying job.
This applies to like 99% of you.

Lmao you have to be an absolute fool to believe most people here on some kind of investing savant sitting on hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars.
I'm not saying you can't invest in crypto and try to make it, but if you'd also spent your time and money elsewhere, you'd be far better off and closer to making it because you'd have actual real disposable money.

This is simply not true, if you DCA in 2023, you would have done a x2.
DCA into a basket of cryptos (like top 100 marketcap, weighted toward larger coins) over the last X* years and you would have beaten S&P by a large margin.

*Don't need to cherry pick anything, you could have bought at the top and then continuously deposit a fraction of your monthly wage and still be significantly up.

People that loose money either only buy near the top or have all their money in a single or few coins.

This is a neophyte strategy. It’s okay, because we all start there. Diversifying into many cryptos is a sure fire way to lose most of your investment. Just buy and hold Bitcoin, it’s that simple. I’ve invested only 5-figures over the last 7 years and now have high 6 figs. Would have been into the millions if I hadn’t messed around with shitcoins and “diversification”

Trust me, you don’t think it will happen to you but I guarantee that SOL and AVAX and the like will end up just like NEO and PRL and EOS.

you don't.
in an economy, you don't need to be richer than your former self, you need to be less poor than everyone else. so if you lose less than most people, you are in fact a winner.
