But btc miner. Previous owner has flashed the mobo and steaks your keys.

I dont think they are smart enough to be able to do that, in argentina at least, but if he is only selling the miner, it can steal the btc going to his wallet or not?

mining in solo is unprofitable since years. You also need good internet connections etc. If you want to burn you home is a good investment, if insured.

>mining in a hotel
what a madman, im impressed
then it shouldnt be as dangerous as him, I saw articles talking about ilegal crypto miners that were way over 85000 watts without paying or saying why they were using so much energy and the police intervened, i doubt with a miner that only uses 3500 watts in a third world country in a shitty place where police never enters can be a problem, if i make progress then i will make another thread, thx for the info

but anon you know how work the miners rewards? Only 1 single cpu solve the puzzle and win the rewards, and others nothing. That's why pool exist for mining. And exist for people like you that don't pay the bills.
Also i don't know how pools works inside, maybe there is one local in argentina or idk, you need to google.

If you aren't american you should mine BSV because you'll actually have a chance at earning something. The catch is that Americans can't sell their earnings because no American exchange permits the sale of BSV.

mining is a total meme. if you're bullish on a coin then buy the coin

mining is essentially a daily DCA into the coin with additional time and hardware requirements. forces you to buy tops and reduces your gains than if you just bought the coin at lows

mining is a total psyop

>> No.57003674

>>57002572
this is close but not exactly true
mining is DCA through your power bill

you are forced to buy every single day at the cost of electricity

the cost of your BTC reward (top or bottom) doesn't matter
the upside of mining is that when the coin goes up, all of your previous mining immediately goes up also
For example, at my electricity prices, the cost of mining for me is about 28k per BTC
so when it was below that? 'not worth it'
But I mined through it and now i'm in the profit for all of my previous mining during that low

Today was the first block ever when fees from BTC usage surpassed mining rewards. Yes, it's because inscriptions without long-term usability, but it shows that the miners are less and less dependent on the block rewards, so the effect of halvings will be less of an issue for miners.

It's the usage of the network. People using bitcoin network paid the miners more than what they made from block rewards.

I've been asking various mining questions for weeks with hit or miss answers.
It's something I'd like to explore, I bought an old S9i off ebay for $65 just to get my feet wet. It'll do nothing but loose money but the entire concept of mining coins is interesting to me, and I say that as someone who remembers when crypto discussion was limited to /g/.

go for it you stupid retard, though see first if your installation is compatible, 3500 watts at high A running 24/7 can make a number in old wiring, and if that happens youll burn your house down, when I had my farm I hired people to stay and watch it when I wasnt around, it was 200k worth of hardware and I didnt wanted it to get crisped because I was out buying beer.
