No. Rates are cut in response to unemployment data which has a much stronger immediate effect on the economy than rate itself. By that time we'll be deep in recession and the market will take a while to turn around. Look at 2008 crash for example, the US started cutting in late 2007.
Long term, we do have an overpopulation/underproduction problem, but no amount of jeets can beat the market cycle. No job = no mortgage.

Started at 72k/year 8 years ago, now making about 96k/year.
I save/invest about 40k/year.
Sitting on 500k, half in retirement accounts, half in cypto.
The way I see it, I can either buy a house and spend the next 25 years paying it off, maintaining it, and then another 10 years rebuilding my retirement savings, or I can just retire early in a low cost of living country when I hit 7 figures.
I don't see much of a future in this country, the trend has consistently been down for my entire life, so why bother giving my entire working life to a country in managed decline where all the institutions actively hate me and my values?
Haven't decided where I'll retire early yet, need to visit more places but currently thinking SEA or Latin America.
I've been to Thailand, fuck it's such a long flight, the time shift sucks. Constantly hot and humid but overall pretty comfy, nice modern cities and the people are polite enough. I could see myself living there, there's not really a good long term option for visas though.
