musicians and artists trying to make it a profitable skilled trade. what are your suggestions, ideas. and list your skills and what you think you should do with those abilities. .
>sketch artist/ cartoonist/ portrait artist
>multi instrumentalist.
i just started a youtube channel pumping a bunch of beats everyday. and drawing a comicbook, trying to get that graphic artist money.

art and design are 100% dead due to AI

music is still possible but mostly only in a live band setting as that cant be replicated by AI

create a wedding band that knows all the classic wedding song covers and you'll do alright out of it

>sketch artist/ cartoonist/

im not too familair with the business side of graphic design but you can always try Fivver

there are other on-demand bidding graphic design websites like 99designs

thats on open platform where businesses post
jobs in the form of bids

say a company wants a logo
company makes an advert asking for bids
from graphic designers

as for being a cartoonist the dream is to become a sanctioned comic in a newspaper like
Carline in the City(tv show)

you can always for the self-publishing route via Kindle on Amazon Kindle Direct

see kdpDOTamazonDOTcom

but its a tough market

i tried collaborating with a friendo
IRL, ima writer deal was i write and
they draw but they wanted cash-up-front

which is fine as artists deserve to get paid
but they were unrealistic with their monetary demands

so now im learning how to draw
you can always make a your own DIY comic book ?

>> No.56985848

like i like writing
but realistically
it difficult to get paid doing that

like i got published in a local indie 'zine
which was produced by local artists
but not "payed"

the payment was exposure

you could start a magazine for indie cartoonists
then feature your work for free
get advertisers to pay you to help with publishing costs?

but realistically it challenging to be an artiste as a career

>youtube channel pumping a bunch of beats everyday

is your yt channel monetized yet ?

>> No.56985993

I made 6 figures on YT in the past 7 years and got demonetized. I guess I lucked out by being at the right moment doing the right thing. These fucking bastards did an 180 on this content and now i cannot monetize the channel again without destroying it by basically deleting my next videos.

Im thinking about going all in on BTC and live as a NEET while it 3x's. If it fails i kms. I cannot work after experiencing what it is to make money online. Its fucking amazing. And no Patreon etc doesnt work unless you have a cult following. I was just a faceless channel. Subs in most entertainment niche are too young and broke to buy stuff.

I wonder how many lawyers this fucker has on permanent retainer to stop any big corporations from taking over his IP even after he dies?
I heard when Jim Henson died Disney literally just stole everything even though there was only a distribution deal, not taking the entire thing over.

i just needed more direction

if only I could be "17 Again" like in that movie
[but id likely find another way of being a NEET]

>art and design are 100% dead due to AI
No they’re not. AI art is pure slop. It’s like CGI in movies. Looks shitty and doesn’t age well.

On that topic if anyone can make children’s book quality illustrations and is looking for work, hit me up on here. Throw out a burner email if you have to. If you have a portfolio that’s better. If not I’m willing to do a test draw and if I like it there’ll be more work.

I want to do this, I've tried so fucking hard for 3 years but no one ever subs, likes or even glances at my smut. I ended up nuking my accounts on the different kinks I drew (loli, kemono shota, armpit close ups and bimbofication)
Every fucking stroke I make feels like a demoralizing whip on my ass. Art for myself doesn't make me happy anymore.

Yeah sadly >>56983968 is correct
Even if ai produces nothing but slop that’s what people want
Fast food is the ultimate example of this, most will accept low quality trash just so long as it’s quick and cheap
I’d say if you really are committed to drawing, do /trad/ style, you’ll get more mileage and it might hold real value
And on comics the market is dying for a serous comic that doesn’t take a year between chapters, if you can do that you’ll mostly likely be successful, just takes a looooooooooot of work

not really sure what your question is but myself I work as a controller (accounting) as my job/career while playing piano and making drum and bass music as my hobby

how creative do you want to be?

do you understand the ethos behind all of globohomo? if you do, then you can create art that supports it. for example, a children's book called 'the vegan fox' , or some artwork that appeals to juvenile sexuality, or some music that has sing-a-long words that people can repeat mindlessly that cbt repeat style then encourages certain forms of behaviour, and if you're willing to 'create' a narrative about the creative process behind all of this then all the better.

of course none of this is fulfilling.
for none of it will actually be creative.
because you wouldn't be trying to create for creating's sake, but instead as a means to getting paid.
and that's fair enough, but it means it's compromised.

if you want money anon and you're not smart enough to work for yourself or have others work for you then get a job.
if you want fulfilment, to look yourself in the mirror and like who you are, then walk your own path. ecce homo.

you are conflicted. trying to resolve the conflict by compromise will result in compromised solutions.

best of luck.
