The whole point is that the money allows you to enter a certain social circle. That social circle gatekeeps all of the really good jobs. You know, the ones that pay 200k+ a year and require minimal work. Actual rich people only use these jobs for one purpose: it's their "play money" so they can just reinvest their passive income that they inherited directly back into stocks, real estate, etc every year.
