-Brother this is a once in a century event, maybe rarer, it's a total reform of the global economic system, it's like the real estate boom x1000, brother.
- no nation state can stop it, when the collapse comes the USA will balkanize, and people will sell their souls to get a satoshi in return, brother.
- Let me tell you about alt-coins, brother.
- It's p2p digital gold which means peer to peer, did you know it bro?
- Tokenized master books, unbreakable encryption, totally secure.
- Yes brother, there are a lot of non-digital currency uses, that's what alt-coins are about.
- Everyone needs to be monetized, don't ask me why brother, I buy them you should too!
- everything will be tokenized bro, it's not just a database.
- when everything is tokenized everything will be monetized brother.

Nothing except potential African Union intervention on their behalf. A multi-billionaire might actually be able to conquer Ghana with the right PMC, but they can't conquer all of Africa. You realize that government regularly confiscates property without a trial? It is a significant source of funding for police departments. Asset forfeiture. Look it up. We learned it from King George's henchmen in the colonies.

You are correct that burglary is much more common then banks confiscating patron property. They make their money by degrading the currency. But protecting your property against street crime is easier than protecting it against bank and government crime. Burglars are almost always stupid, in a hurry, and where I live I can kill them just for being in my house. Bankers not so much. If the government tells the banks to take your chips, they will do it without hesitation and if you protest you will get the hose or worse.

Still, safe deposit boxes are one component in what should be a diverse strategy for protecting assets. But never put all eggs in one basket.

>Yep, if you're a criminal your stack isn't safe in a house or a bank.
Unlike a burglar, the feds will inventory your property and give you a receipt so if they didn't have the right to take it you can sue them.

From what I've seen the main reason /pmg/ hates banks and insurance is because most of the posters here are criminals.

Seen some YT videos posted by an Attorney about certain states near the east side of the US, have a reputation for LE (state patrol) to confiscate cash and other valuables from private citizens by default with no tangible probable cause, during routine traffic stops.
Their policy is, your guilty until proven innocent and insist that only criminals travel with large amounts of cash or other valuables.
It has all appearances of the state operating a mafia-tier criminal racket

US coins almost always get bid up by the boomoids, but when luck is on your side foreigns can hammer quite cheap. 12ozt asw of leaf dollars for just 105 was a heckuvadeal but you'll get the score you deserve if you keep monitoring the auction service, that won't be the last of the cheapies.

Before getting it in hand i planned to bake it as you advised, but ngl i find the toning pretty nice looking, it makes the relief pop out, especially on the hair. The pics really aren't making the coin justice, i'll try to take better ones and figure out how to not get the compression be this extreme (80KB is fucked up lol). But the coin looks much better than i initially expected. I fear i'll lose the toning's "homogeneity" if i bake it (you know, not all parts are getting equally untarnished with baking/alu/salt sometimes). What do you think fren?

Also i've a lot of various coins who came up by the mail today with some pretty cool stuff i think even you never have seen before, too lazy to post now but tomorrow 100%.

Funny thing about sets. People who want complete sets usually have a start with some of the pieces and they want to fill in the gaps. So full sets often don't have much appeal because the seller thinks, "full set" and see sellers wanting way too much. Unless there's something special about the serial numbers, like some Franklin Mint set being sold with all matching or consecutive serial numbers. Other examples are books with pictures, like old atlases. There was a craze (maybe still) where soulless speculators would buy an antique atlas, cut out all the maps and frame them and make bank on the individual maps.

>>56951601
I don't understand what you mean. The minters are in the header: Mintanon, Holocoinanon, and whoever made the other two are "Other" because I don't know or care who they are. (for the record, the MLP was made by "Lunar Harmony" - I have no idea who/what that is). Of course, none of these are the actual minters - they coordinated the process. I think they used Osborne, among others.

Pic related is my current stack, probably around £4,000 of silver and £1,000 of gold. Not a huge stack but steadily growing. It's currently in a safe in my office, plan is to buy a new safe that bolts to the ground in the garage.

I have CCTV (stored locally and off-site at a friend's house rather than data centre), an alarm system and all my windows are covered. Deadbolt for the doors, office has a deadbolt as well. I make myself as little of a target as possible. Even if I do get burgled, my home insurance covers everything and I keep an up-to-date Excel file with all my PMs, photograph each purchase and keep receipts.

If you're storing your PMs anywhere other than somewhere that you have EXCLUSIVE access to, then you might as well invest in scams like DigiGold. Want to sell your PMs quickly? Sorry sweetie, bank is closed on the weekend or because there's a technical fault.

I recall having lobby open hours extremely reduced at my banks in the US.
For a long time. inside banking was shut down completely and all you could do is drive thru during limited hours.
Then when some banks finally opened up, some of them only let one person in at a time and you were confined to the entry way area between the inside doors and the outer doors with a sort of drive thru window style kiosk you had to do your business thru. They still didn't let you inside.
Others slowly started opening for inside service to limited numbers of people at a time during limited hours of the day.
One bank was restricted to one customer allowed in at a time by appointment only.
And when you went to the bank for your appointment the doors were all locked and you had to stand outside and wait for someone to let you in

There are alarms that alert you via your phone if your safe is being tampered with. Some with a setting to alert local police if you so wish. It also helps if your safe is hidden behind a false wall or something similar. Which would be the case for me. I should also mention that my folks live in a very rural area with zero nogs, and one of the town cops lives right up the road. Cameras, ring, and motion lights everywhere. It's about as safe as a spot as you could ask for.

Lads, I think ive realised what the big plot about them recently announcing the tripling/quadrupling/friptupuling of solar power production is really about, its to do a raid on all the vaults around the world the cabal can get access to and take all the Gold and Silver from the private investor under the guise that its to "save the world", Its all part and plan of their great wealth transfer.

If any of you idiots are still paying a vault to hold your metals get them the fuck out of there, These globalist parasite criminals are coming for them.

I don't mean to be a FUD but unfortunately you got scammed fren. I don't recognize that specific slab, but those chinkoid trade dollars are VERY widely faked, there are gobs of fakes in "slabs" available on alibaba and tons of listings on eBay for similar slabbed fake trade dollars. Here's just 1 out of dozens of fake coin scam listings: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266393967354

it is entirely possible they're fakes.

the reason I think they may be real is they're coming in right around the correct weight. I'm seeing most fakes being way underweight.

the reeding looks legit too, and it has all the flags on the ship. Hopefully they're legit cause it'd be an amazing find

I've seen the chink "slabs" before but I know they sell those holders online, and anyone can print out a label so I just ignore them.

Guess maybe we should be telling /pmg/ more about this stuff, but every time I mention fakes they think I'm trying to fud metals in general. Luckily eBay will take care of this event. But it's still a hassle.

They can approximate the right weight and diameter by using crap like Molybdenum, I'd advise you to spend some time looking at all the fakes you can buy cheap on ebay and Alibaba until that sus applied toning like on your pair and millions of other fakes rings immediate alarm bells whenever you see it. I know you're hopeful that they might be real, but trust me m8 you should just try to get a refund.

Came into some precious metals recently and not sure what to do with them.
Do you guys think of them as an investment that you will one day sell for more than you bought it for?
or as emergency apocalypse money that you will hold forever in case we revert to a barter economy?
Or are you collectors who just like having it?
Don't tell me that it's real money and USD is fake, BC I can only buy groceries and pay my mortgage with one of those
